48 Months- Bachelor of Technology in Information Technology is four years (8 Semester) full-time undergraduate engineering program offered at Indian Institute of Information Technology, Vadodara.
- Software engineering is a form of engineering that applies principles of computer science and mathematics to achieve cost-effective solutions to software problems. The software engineering curriculum places primary emphasis on the technical aspects of building and modifying high quality software systems. This programme is designed to forge a strong linkage with the IT Industry, which will take up research and development projects for the industry and play a key role in developing ICT applications for the masses.
Eligibility Criteria
Must have passed class XII (or equivalent) Board examination with a minimum of five subjects and secured at least 75% aggregate marks. The aggregate marks for SC, ST and PwD candidates should be at least 65%.
Admission Details
Admissions to the four years B.Tech. Program of the Institute is made through the examination conducted by CBSE under the name and style of JEE (Main). Official Notification of this examination is given wide publicity through national dailies during September-December every year. The examination is scheduled usually in May the following year and held at several centres spread over the entire length and breadth of the country. Based upon the merit in the written examination, Central Counseling Board of JEE (Main) invites candidates for counselling at selected centres and seats for various participating institutions are allotted, based upon individual merit.
