Admission to IIM Ranchi will be based on the performance of candidates in the CAT, Written Ability Test, and Personal Interview and also based on their profile.

Kshitij you have an average academic record. For a general category student to get a call from top IIMs like IIM A, B and C you need to have above 99.6+ percentile. For other old IIMs like IIM K, L and I you need to have above 98+ percentile and

Is there any state domicile quota in XLRI oR IIM RANCHI

Hi Rishi! No, both institutes mentioned by you do not have state domicile quota. While IIM Ranchi follows the caste based reservation criteria as stated by the Govt. of India, XLRI Jamshedpur being a private institute does not have caste based or state domicile quota.

What is your Cat percentile????

It depends on the score you have in CAT. Moreover some iim's will surely give calls especially new iim's.

Its tough to get the call from BLACKI at this profile.

But it's not certain. Since your domain is different i.e. so the chances increases

Hi .. my scores are 10th :72% ,12th:63%,B.E:6.5 ,3 years work exp .i am working hard for CAT exams is it possible i could get any IIM .

I am assuming you are from general category. Based on your overall academic profile, you will need to score atleast 96 percentile in CAT to get a call for the next round of new IIMs.

College Infrastructure

As a current student at IIM Ranchi, I’ve seen the institute evolve from interim facilities to the newly developing permanent campus. Although some areas are still under construction, the existing infrastructure is modern and functional. Our classrooms are equipped with smart boards and projectors, which makes learning interactive. The hostel accommodations are comfortable, with good internet connectivity and essential amenities. While the campus isn’t the largest, it fosters a close-knit community and easy interaction with peers and faculty.

Overall a perfect place to have your management education.

College Infrastructure

College infrastructure is very nice and it has all adequate infrastructure. It currently lacks designated sports complex but it will be done in upcoming year. It has sufficient canteens,supermarket,gym etc necessary for a residential program.
