B.Tech Civil Engineering is full time four year undergraduate degree course, offered by Indian Institute of Technology, Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi.

The program covers the entire components of Civil Engineering e.g Structural, Water Resources, Geotechnical, Transportation, Environmental Engineering etc. Apart from theoretical and laboratory based learning, pedagogical schemes emphasize the project based learning which provides a wider exposures to real civil engineering problems and their solutions. Apart from learning the basic civil engineering concepts, students are also instructed in courses especially designed for hobbies and character building.

Eligibility Criteria

Must have passed class XII (or equivalent) Board examination with a minimum of five subjects and secured at least 75% aggregate marks. The aggregate marks for SC, ST and PwD candidates should be at least 65%.

Admission Details

Admission to Four-Year B.Tech. programme is made through the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) conducted jointly the IIT.

Overall, the college provides the necessary infrastructure for students learn and grow. However, certain facilities could use some modernization and better upkeep to improve comfort and convenience for future.

College Infrastructure

IIT BHU has most of the essential infrastructure and facilities needed for academics and campus life. The classrooms and laboratories are well equipped and functional, supporting both coursework and research. The library, sports facilities, and Wi-Fi connectivity across academics and hostel areas adds to the convenience. Overall, the campus provides reliable facilities that meets day to day academic and residential needs.

Good infra.. but it’s a govt college so not that hygienic like hostels n everything but campus is huge so ya many things to do.. food is avg.. we have wifi smartboards everything.. overall nuce college
