Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Civil Engineering is a four-year (8 semesters) full-time undergraduate program offered at the Indian Institute of Technology Indian School of Mines Dhanbad.

Eligibility Criteria

Passed 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational subject/ Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Informatics Practices/ Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics/ Business Studies. Obtained at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the above subjects taken together. OR Passed Diploma (in Engineering and Technology) examination with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) subject to vacancies in the First Year, in case the vacancies at lateral entry are exhausted.

College Infrastructure

Infrastructure is good at my college but almost all the buildings are very old . College do have all the necessary facilities and equipments. Almost every classroom is equipped with smart board and wifi facilities. Living spaces are clean and the foods are hygienic.

College Infrastructure

The college has great infrastructure. From fully equipped laboratories, libraries to gym, badminton court, tennis court, 2 playgrounds for cricket and football. Great cafeteria and other food outlets like RD and many more. The whole campus is wifi-friendly. There are 11 hostels which accommodates UG and PG students.
