72 MonthsDoctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) is an offered Full-time Doctoral program and it is offered by Indian Institute of Technology Indian School of Mines Dhanbad. Ph.D. program shall be for a minimum duration of three years, including course work and a maximum of six years. Extension beyond the above limits will be governed by the relevant clauses as stipulated in the Statute/Ordinance of the individual Institution concerned.
Eligibility Criteria
M.Tech. or equivalent in Mineral / Fuel / Chemical / Metallurgical/Mining Engg; with B.Tech or equivalent Mineral/Fuel/Chemical/Metallurgical/Mining Engg/Mechanical Engg.
Admission Details
A candidate can get qualified for the interview through any of the following modes
- Valid GATE score,
- Valid NET rank
- Qualify in IIT(ISM) JRF Entrance Examination (full-time)
- B.Tech from IITs in respective discipline with OGPA/CGPA 8.5 and above.
