Eligibility criteria :The minimum qualification for admission to the M.S. programme is a Bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized Indian or foreign university (obtained after a minimum of 12+3 years of education).
Selection Procedure : Selection of candidates for the M.S. programme will be based on academic records and performance of the candidate in an all-India written entrance test and interview. There is no tuition fee for the programme and all eligible students will receive a stipend.
About the course:
The two-year programme consists of a total of twenty credit-courses distributed over four semesters. These include colloquium, seminar and dissertation work. In addition, there are two courses in Elementary Mathematics (each carrying four credits) in the first and second semesters for those who have not studied mathematics at the plus two level.

As per the new updates the validation of OBC NCL certificate varies with the government. It is valid only for a period of 1 month in Central Government and over a period of 3 months in the state Government.
However since you have received the certificate in 2015, the certificate is not valid anymore. Providing a invalid certificate may violate the rules of ISI. So you need have to renew it.
For the renewal purpose kindly check with your district tehsil court and find the documents you to produce. Later you can visit the tehsildar office where you can get your certificate renewed.
Make sure you renew your certificate as soon as possible and apply for ISI. BEST OF LUCK.

the basic eligibility criteria is candidate must have a graduate or post graduate degree with the pattern of 10+2+4/10+2+5/10+2+3+2 with a Minimum of 60% marks or CGPA 6.5 (for general category )on a 10-point scale in the Qualifying Degree course exam. for sc/st/pwd candidates it is cgpa 6/10, or 55% marks on b.e /b.tech/mcom or equivalent/m.sc courses , since you have not completed msc you are not eligible to apply.

Yes isi exam is a little harder to crack but don't worry with proper hardwork and practice you will be able to score well in the exam and don't be anxious every other entrance exam has a certain level of difficulty to choose the best among the rest.
To prepare for the exam you should know the exam pattern throughly which is as follows:- t here are two parts of the entrance examination i.e. part-1 and part-2. Part-1: the entrance exam will be of objective nature which will comprise of the multiple-choice questions. part-2: Exam will be of descriptive nature comprising of short answer type questions. In addition to that, there will be some questions from reasoning also in the entrance test.

The cut-off of ISI exam is every year. For multiple choice questions sections, the cut off usually remains around 60 to 75 out of 120 based on the difficulty of the questions Whereas the cutoffs for subjective type questions remains from 35-50 out of 80.
