Students who have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination in any subject from a recognized Board/Institution having scored a minimum of 45% in aggregate or equivalent CGPA or equivalent grade in case of candidates belonging to General category and OBC and 40% in case of students belonging to SC/ST/PWD categories are eligible to apply.

IGNTU has a large campus with basic infrastructure. Classrooms used by BA Hindi students are simple and functional. The library is the most useful place, especially for Hindi literature, grammar, and exam preparation, though many books are old editions. Hostel facilities are average and depend on maintenance. Overall infrastructure is manageable but needs improvement in study spaces and digital access.
According to BA development IGNTU is best university.

IGNTU has a very big and green campus. The environment is calm and peaceful. Classrooms and library are good for study. Hostels are okay but need some improvement. Overall, the campus is clean and comfortable.
