24 MonthsM.A. Arabic Language and Literature is an interactive and Interdisciplinary course offered by the Department of Arabic Language and Literature at the Islamic University of Science and Technology, Pulwama.
The students will delve into courses that sharpen their language skills as well as those that deal with variations in the literature. Some of the subjects currently being taught in the Master's program are the history of Arabic Literature, Classical Poetry and Prose, Syntax and Morphology, Translation, Modern Arabic Poetry, Novel, Drama, Short Story, Rhetoric and Prosody, Literary Criticism and Research Methodology.
Eligibility Criteria
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent with Arabic as one of the subjects with 45% marks from a recognized University/Institution OR having Aalimayat/ Fazilah degree with 10+2 of the approved Madrasas.
Admission Details
The Selection of a candidate shall be based on his/her performance in the Entrance Test and the Qualifying Examination.
