Dear Quaiser,
There doesnt seem to be any course offered by JMI in Mass Communication at Bachelors level. However, it does offer that at masters and Mphil/PhD level. Furthermore, in mass media, there is just one course that is in BA Mass Media (in Hindi).
In case you want to ask about Masters, JMI demands that as per its basic eligibility criteria, to take admission in MA Mass Communication, you should have passed graduation in any discipline with not less than 50 % marks in aggregate.
Hope that helps.
Good Luck!
Dear Israr,
Dear Akhtar, if you are talking about Social work department, The Department of Social Work of JMI is consistently upgrading its curriculum to make it more responsive to the social challenges in India. Through its accademic programmes, JMI helps students help, understand and evolve them as human professionals. So your social work should be in your personal capacity. The campus was not at all maintained well. The basic facilities were there but in bad condition, the expectations that i had from he campus were not fulfilled as the delhi univeristy campus was better.
Jamia's science department is also in good condition. Wi-Fi connectivity is available in the majority of the campus areas, such as the library and laboratories. The hostel facilities are clean and good, and students are provided with four meals a day breakfast, lunch, evening snacks, and dinner. There are laundry and medical facilities available, too, and function effectively.
colleges infrastructure is fabulous and JMI is built on 2 sides of the road . JMI has one of the biggest library which is Dr Zakir hussain library. the campus is clean and all classes are well equipped with projectors which makes it easy for us to understand concepts . also there is a fighter jet in the engineering department
