The admission done in Jamia to all the courses will be done on the basis of the candidate’s performance in the JMI entrance test conducted by the institute, followed by an interview.  Also in order to fill up the form for Jamia the candidate is required to score 50% aggregate in their 12th examination.

Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) will begin the JMI 2021 admission process in the month of March at jmi.ac.in. The last date to submit the application form will be second week of April 2021. please visit the website regularly for more information.

For MBA programme the eligibility criteria is graduation with at least 45% marks in aggregate and 55% marks in the concerned subject. The question paper of JMI 2021 will consist of only multiple-choice questions. As per the marking scheme of JMI 2021, the candidates will be awarded with one mark for every correct answer. For every incorrect response, 0.25 mark will be deducted.  For more information follow the link below:

Yes you need to have a portfolio for the MA in mass communication in Jamia Millia Islamia University,

As there are reserved marks for that, it will be better if you work on your portfolio to make it better , as it will enhance your chances of getting selected for your course.

PG Diploma in mass communication is a full-time Postgraduate Diploma course in mass communication. The JMI entrance exam pattern is such that candidates need to attempt 200 objective/ multiple choice questions in 3 hours and interview. There will be negative marking for every question answered wrongly. bachelor’s degree in Journalism with 50% of marks. Questions consists of :

• National and international political issues/personalities
• General knowledge
• Film, television and other media
• Art, literature and culture
