Yes you need to have a portfolio for the MA in mass communication in Jamia Millia Islamia University,

As there are reserved marks for that, it will be better if you work on your portfolio to make it better , as it will enhance your chances of getting

PG Diploma in mass communication is a full-time Postgraduate Diploma course in mass communication. The JMI entrance exam pattern is such that candidates need to attempt 200 objective/ multiple choice questions in 3 hours and interview. Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) is a central University, established in 1920. The official dates for the JMI Entrance Exam 2021 academic year will be released in the month of February, 2021. The application forms and brochure will be released in the month of 3rd week of February, 2021.

If you have admission letter from Management Schools of Top IITs and NITs like Trichy, you may prefer them over JMI. Otherwise consider JMI, secondly being located near Corporate and Finance Hubs of Delhi NCR provide huge scope and impetus to training and placements.
