There is a huge library with a lot of books of different courses. There is Wifi facilty also for students There is clean and a wide space. Students are allowed to go to each sde of library and there is seating space also
For academics Professors are very much qualified and energetic and have a high control on thier subject. Curriculum is also updated and is being reviewed and is changed according to the nature of society
Placement are also upto marks according to the course. I did not accepted the placement as I wanted to become a professor But the minimum average salary is 30000.so,students should opt for this college at maximum
20000 per year
College campus is extraordinary
There is no discrimination
Good infra, some Beauty buildings about 100 years show its architectural beauty. Almost every department has a Library apart from the central library which is very huge . Has its own sports complex maybe the largest among all colleges in new delhi.
Teachers are good and very supportive. Environment is best. Curriculum is customised but can't say if it is being updated with the changing scenerio. Some teachers are from IIM's and heave a very thorough knowledge in their subjects.
Placements are not that good except for some courses. College is quite supportive though and has a placement cell which try to bring as much companies as they can. Average package for a course like MBA might be 4 lakh p.a.
An MBA costs about 50,000 here which is quite good given that it is a central university
Campus life is great, jamia feels like family. People are great here.
I did my graduation from here now I am doing my masters from here too. From that you can know that I love jamia.
Very good infrastructure with all the facilities in College campus and also in classrooms, laboratories. The library always there whenever we required any book. All our books are available in Library and also in our department library. Jamia provides good food options in all canteen available in Campus.
I am studying MBA from Jamia Millia Islamia because I want to further increase my knowledge in management field and want to do job in management field. Teachers provide quality teaching even in online mode with a curriculum structured according to industrial experience. A study from Jamia Millia Islamia will make me job-ready.
Placement in our college is good with almost every student placed in the company coming in Jamia. Placement Coordinators work day and night in inviting companies from all over India. Placement Coordinators make sure the placement process operates smoothly.
You can get quality teaching with very low fees. Fees are very low and its worth it.
Students engage in various events organized in our college and we got support from all teachers in organizing extracurricular activities also. Its located in New Delhi and its safe for all students.
If you want quality teaching and want to build your career you should take admission in Jamia Millia Islamia.
Amazing. The infrastructure of Jamia Millia Islamia is one of the best in India. The campus is one of the biggest nationwide and it is no secret that Jamia is ranked number 1 in the list of best central universities
Teachers are very helpful and they help you throughout your academics. They are expert in their domain and have wide range of knowledge. All the students are also professionals eyeing for opportunities to learn.
Great addition to my academic life. I wanted to pursue mba therefore chose to apply cms, jmi. It has been an awesome experience till now and I believe pursuing an MBA from Jamia Millia islamia is worth every penny.
Worth
Awesome
Yes, the infrastructure, facilities and equipment are good. In our faculty we have huge hockey ground which allows us to do lots of sports activities. I also had a month of sports where we had to play lots of games and tournaments, and proper classroom with benches, libraries, canteen which provided good quality food.
I am studying diploma in elementary education two teachers are very good here they make us understand the concept very clearly. sometimes I do have difficulty in finding the books because the medium in which I study is hindi medium. Otherwise you can find number of English books here. The curriculum is updated and that includes all the recent developments in the field it involves internship to make us ready for the job.
If you are in a good branch you will get good placement I guess the placement of computer engineering is very good I don't know for sure about my course as teaching placement depend upon entrance test like CTET aur UPTET exams. The average salary is pretty decent, varies from course to course.
Jamia is a Central government university, the price for the courses is very affordable my course cost around 7000rs . So yes i feel like I'm getting my money worth because I've learnt a lot in this course.
My Campus has its own aura, peace and calmness that one can feel here. There are lots of activity for example the NSS camp Sports which increases participation of student and make them active. There are different crafts in which student can engage for example and dye woodwork vocal music gardening etc. Teachers are very helpful . the location is is gate number 22 Tikona Park . yes, it is very safe often crowded place
Every one has its own experience in the college but it has a lot to offer to us I have learnt a lot in the past two years there's so many activities to after so many courses to learn one can benefit a lot from within us
faculty has all the required labs in civil engineering course such geology lab, soil lab, fluid mechanics lab, engineering drawing, CAD centre etc, along with FET library, reading room, FET canteen and sports complex nearby. hostels are there but you need to undergo a lot of struggle to get a room in boys hostel as they are limited. college has a robust wifi network all around the campus which is clean and well maintained with greenery and garden to sit and relax.
i graduated in civil engineering and realized the need updation of of curriculum. professors of civil engineering are highly experienced and qualified. however, i feel more focus should have been given on industrial exposure rather than classroom teaching.
placement scenario in civil engineering field is quite dull in every college and so was the case in my class. Around 5-10 students out of a class strength of 75 got placed in core companies such as L&T, TATA constructions etc. few other got placed in non-core companies such as TCS, BYJUs etc.
definitely value for money as fees was around Rs 12000 per annum. and at this price you are unlikely to get an engineering degree from government college
Talking about infrastructure of Jamia Millia Islamia, it is best in delhi. So much greenery all around and ground is awesome. It is near metro and also very easy to visit...............................
Jamia Millia Islamia New Delhi Teachers are good and friendly some of them are highly qualified having more than a decade of experience, you will feel you are in safe hands they will help you in every way possible,
If you are tagetting this college only for placements then it's not a wise choice as placement here are just average. You will get many internship opportunities but most of them are in marketing. Same goes for placements
Best ROI
Don't know much as my MBA was in lockdown
Best college if you if you are looking for colleges with good ROI
Since I got admission in jamia around 4 months earlier and I haven't got the chance to sit in the classroom and learn from our teachers due to covid. I visited the campus just to get myself enrolled and after observing our Campus in that brief time I fell in love with its infrastructure the old buildings red colour buildings they looked really amazing, as far as classes are concerned, hostels, labs I am not aware of that as I mentioned I didn't get the chance to study in campus yet.
I am currently pursuing my MBA(IB) from jamia. I am doing it because I always wanted to do MBA as I am from commerce background and I have keen interest in doing business further in my life so doing MBA seemed viable to me. The quality of education is excellent in MBA as you are being taught by the epitome of faculties, they are highly qualified, their way of teaching is easily understandable. The curriculum is up to date, since we are attending classes from home. I feel I am lacking exposure.
Jamia is a decent college and as far as placements are concerned almost 80% of the batch is placed in different sectors including marketing, consulting, product management, finance, ecommerce. The highest salary package last year was around 14 lacs and average goes between 7-8 lacs pa which is pretty decent when you are giving just around fifty thousand for your whole MBA. It has a very good ROI. The college constantly gives us chance to fill up the internships and also helps in placements.
As I have mentioned above Jamia Milia islamia has a very good ROI as compared to other private colleges jamia provides 7-8 lacs average job package against a fees of 25 thousand per year, 50 thousand and your MBA is completed. I definitely feel it's value for money as we are getting everything top class by paying so less fees.
I haven't really enjoyed or even witnessed my campus life yet and I am in my second semester and is really pisses me off. I really want to enjoy the campus life but due to covid it's almost been a year since we are attending online classes. I took admission in the capital city just to get exposure, industrial work experience but nothing have I achieved till now.
I have shared everything possible I just want the colleges to go back to normal so we can have normal MBA and a normal life
Due to covid19 we don't have that much experience about everything but the infrastructure are seems good. Due to pandamic we are not able to get offline classes. Therefore I cannot comment on that area.
Due to covid19 we don't get physical classes and due to shot semester quality of teaching have been compromised. But many faculty are very good in there subjects. Till now we don't have any physical interaction.
As I am freshers and due to covid19 I don't have exact idea about placement. We have tried to get more information about placement but they also not very clear about that due to covid19. Till now as I heard which is around 70%.
Yes it is value for money because faculty are very good which I know and at that fee if you getting degree with very much recognised college what more you can aspect.
We don't have campus experience due to covid19.
Good for learning.
College has beautiful infrastructure with all necessary facilities. Teaching staff consists experience and knowledgeable faculty. The library is well equipped with great books and the librarians also are very helpful.
Curriculum is upto date and relevant to present scenario. The faculty development programmes/seminars/workshops are regularly organized by the department. This course is one of the sought-after courses at Jamia Millia Islamia and it attracts students from all over the country and abroad.
As located in the Heart of Capital ,it has decent placement record. Placement cell is very active and help in getting both Internship opportunity and Job placement. Most of the students get placed. ..
As central government University fee is very nominal.
With 81.69 percentile in JEE Main under the General EWS category, getting ECE in JMI, AMU, JNU, or NIT Hamirpur would be quite difficult. For these institutes, the cutoff for ECE usually stays higher, often above 90–95 percentile for EWS candidates. JMI and AMU tend to have competitive cutoffs because of limited seats, while JNU and NIT Hamirpur also require a higher percentile. However, you still have good chances in other NITs, IIITs, or state-level colleges where the cutoff percentile is comparatively lower.

Hello Sakina
If money is not the issue, Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) is preferred for BDS due to a superior clinical exposure and national credentials.
DY Patil is a good private alternative with better infrastructure and comfort but usually less patient inflow and market value.
Hope this answer helps! Thank You!!!
