Dear Asprirant

Yes, you'll be eligible for counselling as you are qualified but most probably only for final counselling(in case of any vacancies) as in last year the opening and closing rank for Puducherry and Karaikal were 13-53 and 59-318 respectively and it depicts that there are no chances for you to get a seat in any of JIPMER. However, you have to wait for the next notice for the subsequent round of counselling for surety, it is advised to visit official sites for updates.

Hope this helps you.

Hey Suneetha !
You have notched a wonderful rank in JIPMER UG 2019 Exam. A rank of 541 does receive a token of appreciation.
Now coming to your question.
If you belong to UR or OBC Category, I am sorry to say there's no chance for you to bag a seat in even Karaikal Campus.
Even if you belong to a reserved category, your chances are too bleak to making it through.
On an overall aspect, it's better if you don't have high hopes for securing a seat over there, sorry to say.

You can go through the cutoff of different years through :

Hope this helps.

Best Wishes !

And as far as neet is concerned I would like to ask you for your marks . With your marks I will be able to clear your doubts with That . But till now I will attach a link with you and you check it may help you .

I hope this helps you .

My 2019 jipmer rank is 147 (generl merit and non local to pondichery). Will i get admission in first counselling?

Dear Aspirant

The chances are slight low but not much as per 2018's cut off rank details which shows that the opening and closing rank for OBC was 13 - 51 for Puducherry and 64 - 240 for Karaikal campuses.

However, you should definitely go for counselling rounds and might get admission in Karaikal campus.

Good luck

Dear Sona

For JIPMER, I am sorry to sat that the chances are nil because as per 2018's cut off rank details, the opening and closing rank for OBC was 13 - 51 for Puducherry and 64 - 240 for Karaikal campuses.

For getting into JIPMER, one(OBC) should aim for category rank atleast under 70.

Note: the merit list doesn't remain same every year and the above mentioned detailed may not be followed this year too.

GOOD LUCK.

Dear Aspirant

The chances are nil even till the mop up round with your SC category rank- 5126 because 2018's cut off rank details shows that the opening and closing rank was 13 - 53 for Puducherry and 59 - 318 for Karaikal campuses and total, only 20 seats are reserved for SC which is quite competetive.

Best of luck.

Hi !

No , it is not possible to get admission without original documents. However , you can apply for counselling in any other college after getting the admission in any college be it AIIMS or JIPMER. If you are alloted a college , you need to submit your original documents in that college to confirm your admission. Without any original documents , it is possible to get admission in any of the colleges.

Hope it helps !
