Hey Urvashi,

As you know JIPMER is one of the best colleges in India with very less number of seats. Since, JIPMER gives quality education and quality placements therefore students choose JIPMER over other colleges. Even though your rank is quite great but it's not enough to get a seat in JIPMER.

I hope this helps you, good luck!

Dear Surabhi

There are only two medical colleges accepting JIPMER 2019 score:

1. JIPMER Puducherry.

2. JIPMER Karaikal.

Below is the link for both the colleges of JIPMER which can help you.

All the best.

Hi Student

JIPMER or Jawaharlal Nehru Postgraduate Medical Education and Research entrance is conducted once a year for both undergraduate and postgraduate courses for admissions into 2 of its campuses one of which is in Puducherry and the other is in Karaikal.

The marks you secure in this entrance examination is valid ONLY for contesting for admissions into the above mentioned campuses.

No other institutions under any circumstances will consider your scores in JIPMER-UG entrance for admissions into their respective institutions.

Best Wishes

Hi Bharath. congrats on getting this rank. but i am afraid that this wont be enough to secure a seat in jipmer.even if you get you might in jipmer karaikal only . whether it will be first round is something that cant be predicted in this case.

hope this helps

Hi Riya,

Unfortunately, you won't be able to attend counseling.

As per the cutoffs, SC category rank up to 259 only is eligible for counseling until the 3rd round.

i hope you prepare hard and get a seat next time. don't lose hope, don't give up.

Hello Soumyashree,

Eligible in the JIPMER overall merit list means that you can apply for counseling in mop up round. As you know that merit list for first and second round of counseling will be released by JIPMER itself, hence whenever the counseling window for mop up round opens you can go for counseling.

I hope this helps.

All the best for the future!!
