As you know JIPMER is one of the best colleges in India with very less number of seats. Since, JIPMER gives quality education and quality placements therefore students choose JIPMER over other colleges. Even though your rank is quite great but it's not enough to get a seat

JIPMER or Jawaharlal Nehru Postgraduate Medical Education and Research entrance is conducted once a year for both undergraduate and postgraduate courses for admissions into 2 of its campuses one of which is in Puducherry and the other is in Karaikal.

Hi Bharath. congrats on getting this rank. but i am afraid that this wont be enough to secure a seat in jipmer.even if you get you might in jipmer karaikal only . whether it will be first round is something that cant be predicted in this case.

Unfortunately, you won't be able to attend counseling.

As per the cutoffs, SC category rank up to 259 only is eligible for counseling until the 3rd round.
