Master of Science in Mathematics is two years full-time School of Physical Sciences Postgraduate course and this degree is offered by Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi. 

The detailed syllabus of the M.Sc. program in Mathematics is available on the website of the School of Physical Sciences, JNU. In addition to standard courses, the program would include a course in Computational Mathematics. The students would also be required to undertake a project in Mathematics.


Eligibility Criteria

A candidate must have Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics under the 10+2+3/4 system with at least 55% marks or equivalent, Or B.Tech or B.E. in any of the Engineering disciplines with a CGPA of at least 6.0 out of 10.0 (or equivalent percentage).

Admission Details

Admission is Based on merit-Basis of their performance in the Computer Based Test (CBT) Entrance Exam.
