Master of Arts (MA) in Kannada is a full-time two-year postgraduate course and it is offered by the Karnataka University, Dharwad

Eligibility Criteria

A Candidate must have passed the Bachelor Degree with Kannada as one of the optional subjects with 45% (40% for SC/ ST/Cat-I candidates) of marks in respective subjects/papers in aggregate from any recognized university.

Admission Details

Admission based on the marks obtained in the respective subjects/aggregate marks in the qualifying examination and Entrance test.

Note: In respect of those subjects where Entrance test is conducted admission shall be made on the basis of a merit list prepared by taking into consideration 50% of marks obtained in the qualifying examination (excluding Basic/Common subjects) and 50% of marks obtained in the Entrance test.

The university has the great campus and has a infrastructure that attracts many students and has multiple departments for each program, and the library is spacious for studying, embedded with many books .
