24 MonthsMaster of Science (M.Sc) in Physics with (Specialization: Atomic & Molecular Physics, Condensed Matter Physics, Electronics, Nuclear & Particle Physics) is a full-time two-year postgraduate course and it is offered by the Karnataka University, Dharwad.
A Candidate must have passed the Bachelor Degree with Physics and Mathematics as optional subjects at least minimum 45% (40% for SC/ ST/Cat-I candidates) of marks in respective subjects/papers in aggregate from any recognized university.
Admission based on the marks obtained in the respective subjects/aggregate marks in the qualifying examination and Entrance test.
Note: In respect of those subjects where Entrance test is conducted admission shall be made on the basis of a merit list prepared by taking into consideration 50% of marks obtained in the qualifying examination (excluding Basic/Common subjects) and 50% of marks obtained in the Entrance test.
