M.Sc in Biotechnology is a two years postgraduate programme that focuses on the advanced knowledge of the application of biology and chemistry in the field of technology, design and engineering. M.Sc Biotechnology involves the study of the usage of living organisms to produce  bio products.

So this two colleges are very good. MS University is UGC approved college and NAAC aggregate also. It was established in 1881. It's very old college. Here so many courses are offered. In MSc biotechnology department is good here like other departments. So many good companies are coming here for placement. And highest salary 4 lpa.

St Xavier's College of Ahmedabad was established in 1955. Its a old college. UGC approved also. Here so many courses are available. MSc biotechnology department also present here. Due to research no placement is seen. But internship got the students. And infrastructure is good.

So now it's totally depends on you, what college you choose for admission.

Unfortunately, your percentile is low as to get admission in MSU FMS baroda, you need to get atleast 90 percentile,as the cutoff closed around 90 percentile.

You need more than 265-270 marks to maintain above 90 percentile,so you can look for other colleges which require less percentile or you can prepare for next exam to score better.

214 on 400 in cmat would fetch you a percentile around 80-85.The cutoff is not released by the authorities and it will be released on the official website.Cutoff changes every year due to many factors like total students appearing for exam,difficulty level of paper,category etc factors,so its quite tough to say exactly the cutoffs. based on previous year analysis , and your score, 214 you can have chances in the following colleges for mba:

The application forms for admission in MSU baroda are not out yet. They will be releasing soon. The admissions for BBA in MSU is done on the basis of entrance followed by interview. Minimum eligibility criteria to apply for the forma is to have atleast 50% aggregate in your 12th boards or equivalent. You have to apply on the official website for the same.
