The faculty was overall good. Different Holds were assigned to different departments. The Holds mostly taught us and the teaching methods were primarily traditional and we were given notes. The course curriculum was also not much updated, and it was mostly outdated.

If you want to get a job irrespective of the branch, it is better to opt software branches.
Compare to remaining private universities, MUIT is somewhat better regarding getting internships, but there are no placements. If CGPA of students is good, everyone will get good outside opportunities. MUIT has a good reputation outside. If you don't get a seat in IITs and NITs, MUIT is a better option for M-TECH.
MUIT provides a conducive environment with modern facilities and infrastructure to support the academic research and professional development needs of students pursuing biotechnology. Proper Wi-Fi connection, labs with equipment, separate classrooms, the biggest library specialized collection of books journals, etc., the hostel with green surroundings conducive environment to students, proper spacious vegetarian and non-vegetarian foods, Chettinad healthcare center for medical issues. Per year, 50 to 60 students are placed. The packages depend on the course. They have links with many companies, like Amazon. Top roles offered in my course include software engineer, web developer, and game developer. The teaching and transportation are very good. I don't know about the hostel as I am a day scholar.
Good infrastructure basically includes all the necessary facilities that any educational institution requires. The college has also started a new hostel which is near the college campus itself and has good Wi-Fi connectivity and smart boards in all of the classrooms.

The faculty of MUIT is well qualified. They have extensive knowledge of their subject. Students get practical exposure with the help of case studies, industrial teaching, presentations, and group discussions in the classroom. Exams are conducted trimester-based, and in each trimester, students have to handle around 10 subjects. So the schedule is quite hectic.
Companies ranging from consulting to FMCG come to campus for placements. Almost every student in the current batch secured internships with one of the top brands like Amul, Deloitte, Dabur, GT, etc. The average package is around 7-8 LPA, and the highest is 35 LPA.
