The hostel life, academics, extra-curricular, events, fests, and everything just make it an amazing place to spend four years of your life. Infrastructure with small classrooms can be found in the main multi-story building but Some of the lecture theatres are pretty well-equipped such as VLTC and well equipped administrative building prabha bhawan. Campus is clean and roads are smooth and well-paved. There are also some hangout place such as amul and air toast. Have many societies under Creative arts and cultural society where we had time to time events and students participate in huge numbers.

The infrastructural development is going on in our college. It has developed a lot. We have lecture theatre halls, a new administration block and new hostels under construction. We need a large auditorium in our campus. Its my first time away from home. A new state, new college and a new life. It was difficult in the beginning but now it has become our life. Student diversity is impactful as I have friends from all over the country and even outside. Its so good to know them and be with them. They are the reason I don't want my college life to end.

We had 2 Mid-terms and 1 End term in each semester. College timing was 8am-5pm and classes were being held in this duration only based on your core and optional subjects. I did my final year project on "Retrofit design and analysis of leaf-spring suspension in tractor-trolley". In mechanical engineering there are various core and optional subjects like in other NIT/IIT's.But we have one special subject under the name of "Product design and development" which is present in only our college in whole India. I am fortunate to be a part of it. I had done a project of "Making smart trolley bag-able to climb on stairs" which includes Mission statement, Market survey, Gathering customer needs, coming up with many ideas through brain storming and concept selection and prioritising resulting finally in a product. In addition we have sociology, economics as optional non-core electives in curriculum. Teachers are very talented, qualified and educated from prestigious institutes all around the world. They believe in modern practices of teaching which includes power point presentation, industry people experts lecture and visiting to various esteemed industries like BHEL and Bosche. Students are also being motivated to take part in department activities like "Renovation of mechanical workshop" and participate in "Altair's India level design competition projects". Some Professors are very supportive even outside classes also. you can call/mail/go to their office for your queries. We have this "Centre of Excellancy" which remains open for 24X7X365 days to students for Design/Analysis and online studying. We have newly constructed Mechatronics Lab and Metrology lab and some others have come up after my departure.

Most of the people don't believe but yes i love the food here, specially because it is hygenic, always special and of course delicious. The most important feature of mess is that it is controlled by the students mess community, and every day we are given something special. Hostels here are good but not best, even number of hostels are less in numbers so the many students live here as day scholars..This is pretty much demotivating for us.But yes our director has also made sure to avail everyone with a hostel. Soon new hostel would be ready for possessions.. But apart from hostels this institute have a good amount of guest houses so that parents, guest faculties can comfortably reside till the time they want to.

High preference to the students in all the activities . Infrastructure is best among all NITs. Faculties are up to 25 years experience. A lot of extracurricular activities help a student in the overall development of a student. Location is always an added advantage in College Life
