Infrastructure – Manipal University, Jaipur has one campus, comprising of several buildings for different fields. The campus is good, classes are fully equipped with projectors, air conditioners with a seating capacity of 60 students each. The campus is 4th ranked in terms of cleanliness. Security is also good on the campus as well as hostel which is only a few meters away from college. The hostel has a capacity of at least 5000 students at a time. For medications, the hostel has a 24*7 ambulance ready. The college has two mess, one on campus and another in the hostel. Also, there are many different kinds of shops in college for food and beverages etc. college has 3 libraries, one central and two others. Faculty - faculty in Manipal is highly qualified. Most of them are have a Ph.D. degree. Their method of teaching is also good using PowerPoint presentations, interacting with students and other means such a messaging, extra classes etc.one can contact them anytime feasible. Placements - placements this year in Manipal was ok. Average packages were around 3.5-4 lakhs. Maximum package offered was of 15 LPA. Companies such a Dell, Amazon came to the college for interviews. Recreational facilities – hostel has many recreational activities for students such as badminton, tennis, squash, cricket, basketball, volleyball and many more. There are around 8 different clubs in the college. Cinefilia, art and drama club is well known among different colleges too. There are different courts for all the games mentioned earlier. Student diversity – students in Manipal are mostly from Delhi, Chennai, Uttar Pradesh, Bombay, and Kota. Students are helpful and interactive as well. Affordability - college fees is bit high. College is a little bit costly as it provides many facilities. But it tries its best to meet its cost.

MUJ: A growing college with a long way to go

The college is new with an experience of just 5 years. But the college has grown exponentially. Let me jot down some points to highlight the same. Academics and Faculty: Having MIT as its parent, we have many faculties from main Manipal and also from MNIT. It would be truly false to say that faculties are upto the mark. I would rate the faculty of MUJ as 3 & half out of 5. Lab Facilities: The main knowledge of Engineering is gained in Labs and not in classroom. So this is one of the main aspect. The Labs are pretty decent for every branch of engineering discipline. It has state of the art amenities but again they are not as great as Labs present in NITs or IITs. Sports Facilities: We have a huge ground which serves the purpose of Football & Cricket, 2 basketball court, 2 Lawn Tennis Court, a Badminton Court, 2 Volleyball Court, another ground in Hostel Premises and Indoor Games Facilities but again the students groom themselves as there is no professional coaching given by college. Fests: There are 3 annual fests celebrated in MUJ. The cultural fest known as Oneiros, the sports fest known as Abhivarta, the technical fest known as TechIdeate. All the fests are of national level and we have participation from all over Jaipur majorly and some countrywide. MUN: Modal United Nations better known as MUJ-MUN is one of the biggest MUNs in whole of the North India. It is truly International Level. We received participation from some parts of Europe, Australia etc. Infrastructure: We have our campus spread on 122 acres. The Campus is breathtakingly beautiful and I mean it. The Hostel is named as YOHO(There is some weird full-form which I fail to recollect). All rooms are centrally air-conditioned. My friends don’t believe when I show them some pictures of my Hostel room. The hostel life is classy. Placements: Placements are not something on which MUJ can boast about. They are good though for a college with just 2 Batches passed out. More stats and figures can be found here: Placement Overview Clubs: There are Clubs for each and every interest. You name it and we have it. Just to cite a few: RPM Club(Automobile) Autonomous Initiative(Robotics) Entrepreneurship Cell Aperture(Photography Club) Wings Club(Aerodynamics) Litmus(Literature) Choreographia(Dance) etc…….. Crowd: We have crowd from all over India. You can find all types of students. We have cosmopolitan culture. Here you will find studious as well as least bothered students. We have many start-ups in our college and an Incubation center also. Life: In and all you will surely have time of your life. Seniors are very helpful and they guide you pretty well. It will give you memories and most importantly friends for a lifetime.

Worthless in case of technical exposure programmes

College awarded smart infra twice consecutively. Despite it lacks industry related paradigms necessary to prepare personal to compete in such mundane and versatile market. By implementing corporate based projects on trial basis. In fact it was challenging when I began rationalizing people, politics, market, technology in a pyramid. Low proportion in no of students getting placed in core. Low turnout in companies during placement drive. Sufficient hostel facilities including Wi-fi. Approach over real case studies. Student diversity efforts promote cultural competence, cultural interaction, as well as an understanding of and appreciation for diversity throughout the entire university community. In case of my university the results are not so prominent. For non-b tech programs

The college Has the potential to be much more than it is right now. With the right kind of support, management, enhancement in imparting knowledge and Practical approach to theory, the students and college can do wonders! The students have a lot of energy and potential, guidance which helps channelize this energy in the right direction can help the students achieve greater heights.

The college is new so there is quite insecurity in placements. Faculty is quite okay. Crowd is good. We have loads and loads of fun activities everytime. College is far from main city and travel is expensive but you can always Try local bus service. Infrastructure is awesome better than many colleges. Mess is quite okay on some days but horrible on others ( as other colleges).
