my clat rank is 3485 general category, do i stand a chance in any NLU

Hi.
Here is a list of all NLUs and their respective cut offs in 2017 for the general category. You don't seem ro have a chance if you belong to the General category.
But you have a decent chance in private colleges that accept CLAT ranks.

Go through CLAT Cut off article done by Careers360. While going through CLAT Closing Rank 2017 column you will come to know that a students from State ST category got admission in MNLU Nagpur with rank of 39573 in first round of counseling and even a student got

As per your All India Rank, you are not eligibile for any of the NLU's but you can always go for private colleges.

Hello Astutya,

With that rank and category you cannot get into any of the National Law Universities you can go for other private colleges like NIRMA, Bharti Vidyapeeth etc.

You seem to have fair chances for admission in a lower/ middle tier NLU in case any vacancies arise. The Middle tier NLU's vacancies usually fill up till a rank of 2500-3000. A lower tier vacancy fills up till a rank of 4000. But this is only a probability

NLUO is a good place to study

College Infrastructure

National Law University, Odisha, Cuttack (NLUO) provides good infrastructure, with proper classrooms/lecture halls, good library equipped with air conditioning, clean campus, ample food stalls for students, sports centres like basketball court, tennis court, badminton court and football field. The hostel rooms are big enough and cleaning crew is available from 7:00 A.M - 4:00 P.M. The hostels, lecture halls, library and mess are all equipped with WiFi, lecture halls have white boards and projector. Mess food is edible. Overall a good experience and good living environment.

College Infrastructure

It has greatly developed as it currently houses one of the largest law library in the country. Adequate facilities with respect to sports and recreation area also made available to students along with good hygienic food

Overall a good college.

College Infrastructure

College infrastructure is improving slowly. The library is finally functional. The hostels are spacious, you get single rooms which is a great thing. Overall the college is pretty but needs a lot of development.
