With the rank you're mentioning I'm afraid you have less chances of getting into an NLU, even if you fall in SC category but you can definitely look out for other good colleges with pretty decent academics like

  • ICFAI Law school Hyderabad
  • MS Ramaiah college of law
  • Christ University Bangalore
  • IMS law college Noida
  • GITAM University
  • KLE society's law college

Hello Anjali. The link given below provides all the top NLUs and their cut offs respectively. Kindly refer them and know your position in the institutes. All the best.

  • Chander Prabhu Jain college of higher studies

Eligibility
  • All candidates, other than those applying under the Foreign Nationals category, should appear for the All India Law Entrance Test (AILET) and selection shall be solely on that basis.
  • In order to appear for the AILET, candidates should have passed the 10+2 examination and scored a minimum of 50%. However, candidates appearing for 10+2 examinations in the year of the AILET can also apply, provided they meet the above eligibility at the time of admission.

Hey Nimisha!

Congratulations on getting through. You see this year the cutoff is extremely on the higher side and seats are full in the first lists itself for even low ranking NLUs.
It is unlikely that there would much changes in seats as whoever has got the top NLUs would clinge to it without question. Only under some very tragic circumstances would someone renounce their seats.

Wait for the next lists and lets see what happens. Even if you dont get upgraded you have secured a place in a very good college and be assured that when you pass out you will have a great package and personality.

Have patience and hope for the best. Good Luck.

If it's your rank in SC category then I'm afraid you have less chances of getting into an NLU even with a state domicile. But you can check out other colleges out there like

  • IMS law college Noida
  • ICFAI Law school Hyderabad
  • MS Ramaiah college of law
  • Christ University Bangalore
  • KLE society's law college
  • GITAM University

Good luck

Chances of getting into an NLU with the rank you're mentioning, are very less that you'll get an NLU if you fall in general category. In the third list also no NLUs are going to breach their closing ranks.

But since you have a pretty decent rank so you can definitely look out for other good colleges like

  • VIPS
  • Ideal Institute of Management and Technology
  • Fairfield Institute of Management and Technology
  • Narsee Monjee University
  • KIIT Bhubaneswar
  • UPES Dehradun
  • Symbiosis law school

Hello
As our expected assumption you can hope for assam till 2nd list or hnlu till 2nd list because many of the students leave their seats for some other college and it gets upgraded or their are some vacant seats as well so you can also try for that.
So for now  just hope for the best and keep your fingers crossed .
I hopw this helps and if you have any more questions please drop a comment below.
Best of luck.

Hello
As per your rank the problem options that you have are cuttack, kochi,  Jabalpur, assam, hpnlu you have to be patient because the options left for are the sower ranked nlus so you can keep your hope suo till 3rd list I think you might a chance of getting in till than. Otherwise we have nirma as a really good option apart from nlus.
So keep your fingers crossed and hope for the best.
I hope this helps you and if you have any more questions please drop a comment below
Best of luck.

Hey.
The cut off for admission in RGNUL Patiala in the previous year through CLAT was a rank of 924 for the general category. Considering the previous year trends and your rank you don't seem to have any chances for RGNUL Patiala. Also, admission to any of the NLUs last year the last rank was around 1600, considering this your chances for admission in any NLU is not much. You can go for various private colleges accepting CLAT scores.
Jindal Global Law School, Sonepat
Kirit P. Mehta School of Law, Mumbai
NIRMA UNIVERSITY, Ahmedabad
ICFAI Law School, HyderabadSchool of Law, GITAM University, Visakhapatnam
Alliance School of Law, Bangalore
IFIM Law College, Bangalore
LLOYD Law College,Greater Noida
Amity University, U.P.
Asian Law College, Noida
