48 MonthsBachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Biological Systems Engineering is a four-year full-time undergraduate program recognized and offered by Plaksha University, Mohali.
The Biological Systems Engineering program combines the power of biology, computing & engineering to tackle some of the greatest challenges for human & planetary health. Our population’s health is dominated by various diseases, & are exacerbated by major risk factors such as air pollution, malnutrition & vast regional differences in health care services. The vision for the BSE program is to transform health outcomes for the world, by leveraging the powerful convergence of data, digital health, biologics manufacturing & biology.
Eligibility Criteria
- Category A: Indian Citizens or Non-Resident Indians (holding an Indian passport) Applicants should be currently enrolled in, or have successfully completed, grade 12 of a 10+2 system from a recognized National or International board or its equivalent with adequate proficiency in English.
- Category B: Foreign Nationals including Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) / Person of Indian Origin (PIO)
- Applicants should be currently enrolled in, or have successfully completed, grade 12 from a board recognized by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU).
- Applicants should submit ‘English as the Medium of Instruction’ letter from the recently graduated school or an English proficiency test score.
- Applicants must be at least 18 years old as of 31 July 2026.
There is no special quota for international students. 15% of the total seats are reserved for candidates holding Punjab Domicile. In the case of any vacant seats, they shall be offered to other non-domicile candidates.
Admission Details
- Shortlisted candidates will participate in a virtual interaction which will be conducted in two parts - a personal interview and a technical assessment.
