24 Months- Department of Management Studies, Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Petroleum Technology offers a 2-year full-time MBA programme. The programme is designed to facilitate students in understanding, developing, integrating and applying knowledge of both core and specialized areas of management and their concepts and practices in the field of management and energy domain. Each year is divided into three trimesters/terms. The programme also includes eight to ten weeks of compulsory summer training for the students.
- The focus of the MBA programme is to impart extensive exposure in the various areas of specialization (Energy, Marketing, Finance, HR and Operations) through electives, thereby providing a wide array of career and entrepreneurship opportunities.
Note: Course Total Fees Include with Hostel and Mess Charges and Students belonging to SC/ST/PH category will be eligible for 50% concession in the Tuition fee.
Eligibility Criteria
- A candidate must hold a minimum 60% (55% for SC/ST/PwD) in 10th standard.
- A candidate must hold a minimum 60% (55% for SC/ST/PwD) in 12th standard.
- A candidate must hold a Bachelor’s degree from recognized Institute/University with minimum 60% marks or 6.0 CPI on 10 point scale (55% for SC/ST/PwD).
Admission Details
Selection for admission in both the programs (MBA & MBA in Business Analytics) will be based on the merit with following components:

The information about the selected and waitlisted candidates will be available on the RGIPT website on the given date. Selected candidates are required to make payment of fees as notified by Institute to secure the admission. In case any candidate fails to deposit the required fee within the stipulated time period (without prior permission from MBA Admission Office) then the offer stands withdrawn.
The final list of admitted candidates will be uploaded on the RGIPT website before the commencement of the programme. If at any stage, the information provided by a candidate is found to be false his candidature/admission shall be cancelled.

Best in infrastructure like any other IIT and management campus Classess are fully AC occupied Central library with collection of all books Wifi is very good in speed and campus is polluted free and very clean

College Infrastructure
The infrastructure is very good. Though the campus is not very big, we do have all AC lecture rooms, a library, good food, greenery, and great rooms. Apart from hostel premises, all other buildings are AC-equipped. We also have courts for sports such as basketball, volleyball, badminton, TT, kho, football, kabaddi, indoor games, snooker, etc. Food and the mess are also good.
