24 MonthsMaster of Technology (MTech) in Petroleum Engineering is two years full-time postgraduate engineering program approved by Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Petroleum Technology Amethi.
Note: GATE qualified students who are admitted to the M.Tech program will receive a monthly assistantship of Rs. 12,400/- per month for four semesters only.

Eligibility Criteria
B Tech or an equivalent degree in Petroleum Engg./Petroleum Technology/Chemical Engineering and allied areas with a valid GATE score in Petroleum Engineering/Chemical Engineering.
Admission Details
Candidates shortlisted on the basis of GATE Score which is valid and above the qualifying pass mark, may be selected for M Tech programmes either on the basis of their GATE score or written test or interview or on the basis of any combination of these as declared by the individual department.

College Infrastructure
Mostly our course has labs for c, python, Matlab, and Autocad in the first year and DSA, graphic, python, and database management labs in the second year. Talking about the classrooms they are excellent, you will feel as if you are studying in a top IIT class. Coming to the library which opens at 9 am in the morning and closes nearly at midnight. You can peacefully complete all your work and develop skills in this library which is fully air-conditioned and the classrooms are too.
