With the introduction of a fully operational INFLIBNET facility (connected through a dedicated lease line to INFLIBNET Centre, Ahmadabad) the utility of the central library has increased much fold. Several thousand e-journals are thus made available which will immensely help research scholars, students, and teachers. As far as extending this facility to other units is concerned this will act as a central hub. Connectivity has already been extended to Ranchi College and very soon all university departments and ASC will have this facility. Considering its importance its working hour has been extended to 8 pm.

Best college
College Infrastructure
I have done my B.sc hons also from here only and I believe the infrastructure is overall very good. The libraries, classrooms , ground all are spacious enough.There’s Wi-Fi in academic blocks, a 500-seat air-conditioned auditorium, e-learning centres, and sports grounds with equipment for regular competitions.

Ranchi University has a spacious campus with classrooms, libraries, laboratories, and basic sports facilities that support students' academic needs. While some departments have older infrastructure, continuous improvements are being made to enhance the learning environment.

The college infrastructure is not very good, and I honestly didn't have a great experience with it. Most students come here mainly to complete their degree. The only positive thing is that attendance isn't very strict, so you have some flexibility. Apart from that, I don't think the college has much to offer.ace

Ranchi University, Ranchi does provide a B.Sc in biotechnology course. The eligibility criteria for B.Sc in biotechnology course is the candidate should have passed Intermediate in Science from recognized board.
