Ravenshaw Main building was made by British so it is ok and I have never visited new ravenshaw campus so I don't know how the infrastructure of New building is Hostel have good infrastructure mostly mahanadi hostel .
I am studying statistics . Due to glitch in sams portal I got this course . As I saw my current faculties teaching ways i was not satisfied . Teacher are not so acquainted towards technology. Which I didn't liked it
There was 1 intership in which our students asked his signature for going to intership but sir said no because sir said if we go for intership attendance will get affected but this so sir does not wanted to go for intership.
It's quite affordable, yes I think it's worth of money spending in this course
Good
No
The infrastructure is decent but has room for improvement. Basic facilities are available, though some areas need modernization and better maintenance. Overall, it provides an acceptable environment for learning but could definitely be upgraded.
The curriculum is structured and relevant to current industry needs. Faculty members are knowledgeable and supportive. Regular classes and evaluations help maintain a disciplined academic environment.
The placement cell provides good guidance and training for interviews. Companies from various sectors participate, offering decent opportunities. Overall, placements are improving each year with better support for students.
The fee structure is reasonable for the quality of education provided. Students get access to good facilities, study materials, and guidance. Overall, the college delivers fair value for the amount
The campus atmosphere is friendly and vibrant. Events, fests, and student activities make college life engaging. Students get plenty of opportunities to socialize, learn, and grow.
It can be improved bit more. Not so hygine, sometimes WiFi doesn't work. Lib old collection only. No new and academic books. ANd i think it can be improve a lot more by the funding it's getting by gov
Good! Daily classes going on. Teachers are really good in our dept. I can be a good teacher here. Classes goes very smoothly and teacher are clearing doubts well. Our hod sir is very cooperative. Good
Not really good. Moderate number. No idea. The subject I am pursuing right now has no such type of packages and all but definitely it has a good academic career one can have. Apart from that not so good.
1700/- per year and it's good compared to other college. And yes because of our teachers. Good for eng Hons students. No idea about other department but our department is really nice and extracurricular activities are there too.
It's good and average at the same time. Students are lil bitchy, staff are good, location on point. Safe it is. Good for emergency
It does have necessary infrastructure like smart boards, speakers, washrooms, computers, wifi etc. But AC is in limited numbers for each department, and room also varies from department to department.
For psychology, faculty is good. They will help you out in times of guidance but its a part of the college experience to feel a clueless when you start uni journey. You will find a mix of both old school and new professors so you will learn to manage each in their own way.
I dont have much clue about placements since psychology isnt a domain like that. However, department provides extra classes for NET JRF and students have gotten great scores. so thats that. The self financing departments like MCA, ITM have placement cells perhaps.
its a government university the only amount i paid in 3 years was when i signed the admission form so yes, all good in that area
food fest and athletic meet once a year seminars and conferences multiple times department stuff too then around 6 hostel functions, mostly boys hostels
Every college will have its ups and downs You will soon learn how to manage stuff
Good but some departments are old and need some improvements. It feels bad because some departments are new and we'll maintained and looks super elegant whole some departments are old have old desk and benches.
I would give my experience till my 3rd semester, 1st year teachers were not so good and I was having trouble reading but I managed because I had read some of the subjects in 12th but with starting of 2nd year we received good teachers.
I haven't completed my course yet and I'm in the 1st NEP batch so I don't know what will happen to my batch but what I'm seeing right now our seniors got really great placements. And even though salary is a bit less our ROI is very high.
Value for money? Ravenshaw? 10/10
Ravenshaw's atmosphere is really great and friendly. So 10/10
Ravenshaw University has a great infrastructure but classrooms lacks modern facilities and equipments. Libraries are filled with studying resources with pleasent environment and hostel infrastructure and wifi need improvement and maintenance. Living spaces and campus are clean
I'm pursuing BA Political Science honours because I've been always fascinated about politics. Teaching staffs are pretty good. I personally do not feel any upgradation in cources which will further help me for jobs
In my department there's no option for placements I'd really appreciate if there will be further any steps will be taken for placements which will help the students in their future there's no student who get placement
It's a very negligible amount for course and so I feel worth the money
The best feature of my university could be library and front lawn area.. students are always engaged in different activities. Location is safe and allowing us to have great exposure and all basic facilities like food medicine and entertainment
Ravenshaw University has a large and beautiful campus with old historic buildings and some modern facilities. It has a big library, smart classrooms, Wi-Fi, labs, sports grounds and hostels for students. Most basic facilities like canteen and study spaces are good. However, some classrooms are not air-conditioned, some labs have old or fewer computers, and the campus medical centre does not work properly. Hostel food is okay but not always great. Overall, the infrastructure is good for a government university, but a few areas still need improvement and better maintenance.
Ravenshaw University is known for good academics, experienced teachers and a strong learning environment. Most departments have qualified faculty who explain topics well and support students in studies. The university offers many courses in arts, science, commerce and professional fields. Classes are regular, and some subjects also include practicals, projects and seminars to help students learn better. However, in a few departments the number of teachers is less, and practical labs sometimes need more updated equipment. Overall, academics are considered good and students get a solid foundation in their subjects.
Placements at Ravenshaw University are average. Some companies visit the campus every year and offer roles in sales, banking, IT support and basic corporate jobs. Students from professional and self-financing courses usually get better placement opportunities than students from general arts or science courses. The highest packages are offered to only a few students, while most students get low to moderate salary offers. Many students prefer to prepare for government jobs, so campus placement activity is not very strong. Overall, placements are improving but still have a lot of scope to get better.
Ravenshaw University is considered good value for money because the fees are much lower than private colleges, but students still get a good campus, decent academics and many course options. For the amount paid, facilities like library, hostels, Wi-Fi and classrooms are fairly satisfactory. However, placements are average, so students may need to work on their skills or prepare for competitive exams on their own. Overall, it is a budget-friendly university where you get more benefits compared to the fees you pay.
Campus life at Ravenshaw University is lively and enjoyable. Students take part in many cultural programs, sports events, fests and club activities throughout the year. The campus is always active with friends hanging out in the lawns, library, canteen and common areas. Hostels give a good mix of study time and fun, and students from different places create a friendly environment. Overall, the campus feels safe, energetic and full of opportunities to learn, make friends and explore new interests.
My own experience at Ravenshaw University has been positive and memorable. I enjoyed the calm and green campus, where I could study as well as spend time with friends. The teachers were supportive and explained things clearly, which helped me understand my subjects better. I liked taking part in events, fests and small campus activities that made everyday life more enjoyable.
It established in 1868 as a college upgraded to a university in 2006 . 87 acre campus with modern facilities, including well equiped laboratories , digital library, hostels, Indoor and Outdoor sports facilities ,including a gym and play grounds. cafeteria provide hygienic and affordable food options. Blend of tradition and modernity.
If you are pursuing literature as your honours subject , don't expect high marks.University has a strong faculty with experienced professors .the quality of teaching is generally good ,with a focus on academic excellence and research oriented learning.
In english department i have no idea about placement. for other department Top recruiters visited campus include Deloitte, TCS, Wipro,Cognizant ,Infosys, SBI life, ICICI Bank . a median package of 3.7LPA.
It depends on the course .for general course it affordable and worth it.
Campus life is vibrantr and diverse , it offers oppotunity to student explore their interests and passions . it provide students with a well rounded experience ,fostering academic excellence, personal growth and social responsibility.
Very nice and comfortable place. Have good environment and clean space as compare to other colleges. Have great architect and history about such great place. The old structure and design is what makes it unique.
Good classes, but bad management. When it comes to academics, in some departments it carries great teaching but also if we see other such departments it doesn't have as much good as others. Overall its fae.
Its good but have poor management in this criteria. The people who deserves won't get placement. Only with the person who has category or have direct connection gets placement. Same as the hostel the condition remains same.
This place is good if we talk about money because it doesn't take that much as compare to other such collages
Having great people around and also great campus.
Well am from Psychology department and department's infrastructure is kinda okay. But some departments can be worse so it depends. So am kinda satisfied by the given and provided things here. Sometimes we don't get much class facilities but that's okayaish.
Academic wise also it depends Department wise. Our faculties are not that great but fine by me coz I ain't much interested. If you're really interested in studies and want to join something related then it's not that good.
Placements am not sure bout that. Maybe the commerce and bba department has that. Don't know bout the rest. Like I've a few seniors in those departments who got placements but it depends on your potential.
Ummmm ig it is if you just wanna chill here. If you're serious then no ig.
I've joined a lot of things here like ncc dance modeling so it's kinda productive for me.
