Sai University, Chennai Admission 2026: Dates, Fees, Eligibility, Cutoff & Application Form

Sai University, Chennai offers admission to undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programmes. Sai University admissions are offered to B.Sc.(Hons), B.Tech, B.A. L.L.B Hons, B.A.(Hons), L.L.M, and Ph.D (Law) programmes. To get shortlisted for the programmes offered by Sai University, candidates must submit the relevant entrance examination scores according to the choice of SaiU courses.

Applicants with a valid SAT/ ACT/ JEE/ Advanced JEE/ CLAT UG / LSAT / CUET / Pearson UG score are eligible to take SaiU admissions. Candidates who do not have a valid national/state-level entrance score may appear for the SAIU Common Admissions Test (SAIU CAT) to seek admission to undergraduate and postgraduate courses. Sai University, Chennai offers admission to undergraduate programmes. Sai University courses at the UG level include B.Sc.(Hons), B.Tech, B.A. L.L.B Hons, and B.A.(Hons). The course duration of B.Sc.(Hons), B.A.(Hons) and B.A. is 3 years and B.Tech is 4 years. However, the duration of B.A. L.L.B Hons is 5 years. To be eligible for SaiU Chennai B.Sc (Hons.) admission, candidates must have passed 10+2 from a recognised board.

• Candidates should have appeared for one of the following tests- SAT/ACT/ CUET/ Pearson UG/ SAIU CAT. 

• Then, applicants must complete and submit their online application form.

• On the basis of academic performance and entrance score, candidates will then get shortlisted for SaiU admissions

• Selected candidates will have to go through the SaiU interaction process. 

• Then the SaiU selection process takes place where admission and scholarship-related decisions are taken by the SaiU admission committee. 

• Shortlisted candidates are then offered admission. 

• Students may accept the offer by paying the registration fee.

• Eligible candidates must have a valid SAT/ ACT/ / JEE / Advanced JEE / CUET / Pearson UG / SAIU CAT score.

• Shortlisted candidates will be called for the SaiU interaction process. 

• Afterwards, the SaiU admission committee conducts the selection process to make decisions regarding admissions and scholarships.

• Candidates will then be offered a seat, to accept the allotted seat students are required to get their documents verified and pay the admission fee. 

• First, candidates are required to register and appear for the entrance exam- CLAT UG / LSAT/ CUET / Pearson UG and score a good rank.

• Applicants who have not appeared for the above-mentioned entrance exams must appear for the university entrance exam- SaiU CAT.

• On the basis of academic performance and entrance score, applicants must complete and submit the online application form. 

• Selected candidates will have to go through the SaiU interaction process. 

• Shortlisted applicants will then be offered a seat and to secure the offered seat, candidates must pay the admission fee.

• Candidates have to meet the eligibility criteria to apply for either the Daksha Fellowship or MA in Public Policy 

• Next, eligible candidates need to complete and submit the online application form.

• The evaluation of applications will be conducted by the Admissions Committee, considering the overall application quality, including co-curricular and extra-curricular activities, internship record, and work experience (if any). 

• Shortlisted candidates will be qualified to participate in an interview with the Dean or a faculty member. 

• Selected candidates will then be offered a seat, which they can accept by paying the required fee.

• Candidates meeting the eligibility criteria must appear for the CLAT PG/ LSAT India entrance exam and score a good rank. 

• If not appeared in any of the above-mentioned exams, applicants must then register and apply for the SaiU CAT exam conducted by the Sai University, Chennai. 

• Candidates may also submit faculty testimonials or letters of recommendation from their school teachers or counsellors.

• Shortlisted candidates will then be called for SaiU interaction which will happen via a Zoom video call.

Note: Sai University also offers a doctoral course- Ph.D in Law to eligible students. The course fee is Rs. 50,000.
