> I completed my B.Tech in Chemical Engineering at this college. The course covered important theoretical concepts and practical laboratory sessions related to the field. The curriculum helped me develop technical knowledge and a basic understanding of industrial processes. The teaching methods and academic support helped me understand the subjects. However, more industry-oriented training, updated curriculum content and practical exposure would further improve students' job readiness.

College Infrastructure – 200+ characters:
> The college has a decent infrastructure with classrooms, laboratories, a library, computer facilities and other basic academic amenities required for students. The laboratories provided practical exposure related to the Chemical Engineering curriculum. The campus environment was comfortable for learning, and the classrooms were suitable for regular academic activities. Overall, the infrastructure provided the necessary facilities to support both theoretical learning and practical sessions.

> Considering the overall academic experience, infrastructure, placement opportunities and career support, I feel the value for money was low. Although the course provided the basic academic knowledge, the practical exposure, industry interaction and placement opportunities were limited. More industry-oriented training, better facilities and stronger placement support would have made the fees more worthwhile.

Faculty members are experienced and research-focused. The curriculum is updated regularly for industry relevance in CSE/IT. Mid-term and final exams test practical concepts, maintaining decent academic rigor.
College Infra
The campus is equipped with modern, spacious classrooms and well-maintained specialized laboratories (such as IBM Software Labs, Robotics Center, and Nanoscience Research labs). Computing labs have updated software and high-speed connectivity. The central library is impressive, spread across multiple floors with a massive collection of physical books, IEEE digital subscriptions, research journals, and quiet reading zones. Hostels are available for both boys and girls with options for AC and Non-AC rooms. Rooms are cleaned regularly, and security is strict. Sathyabama is famous across South India for its free, unlimited, high-quality mess food provided to all students (both day scholars and hostellers). Clean, hygienic breakfast, lunch, and evening snacks are served daily with high standards. Wi-Fi is accessible across departments and hostels. The college features large sports grounds for cricket, basketball, volleyball, and indoor game arenas.

Academics
I completed my BE in CSE driven by interest in data and machine learning. Teaching quality was good with approachable faculty covering practical applications. The curriculum was well updated covering current industry trends like ML and data analysis.
College Infra
Our college has excellent infrastructure classrooms with smart boards and WiFi. Well equipped labs and resourceful library and good sports facilities. All are well maintained and actively used. Hostel spaces are clean and the food served is hygienic and satisfactory.
Campus Life
Campus life was fun with tech fests, cultural events, workshops for students to take part in.teachers and staff were supportive and the college had good systems to handle emergencies.
Placements
They offer good guidance for placements. Many students have been placed with outstanding offers. The placements are good for both technical and non-technical roles. I’ve scored an internship as a business analyst in my final year itself.
Value For Money
I completed my BE in CSE and it cost around 10 lakhs. If you put in the work, along with resources offered at the university the cost is well worth it. They help in both placements and higher studies too.
