Batch of 2022 | B.Tech Mechanical Engineering
Tezpur University has one of the best campus , which is lush green and absolutely clean. specially in mechanical department faculties are highly experienced and very nice in delivering the knowledge , most of them are from IITs and other prestigious institute. hostel and other facility are of the level of IITs . WiFi is too good as it give the normal speed of 3-4 MBps which is unlimited. placement is good and it is increasing day by day, companies like IOCL , Power grid , Toyota ...recruiting the students from this campus with package of about 17 lakes. this institute grab its position in list of IoEs (institute of eminence) recommend by the EEC with other institutions like IIT Madras , IIT Kharagpur , BHU...

Batch of 2019 | B.Tech Mechanical Engineering
Faculties are good but are only obsessed with bookish knowledge. The overall infrastructure is appreciative but there is no Industrial Exposure. Placements are really bad. None of the core Mechanical companies come here for placement. But the infrastructure is Good. There are a lot of non-academic facilities ranging from Sports, Music, etc but co-curricular activities related to academics are bad.

Batch of 2019 | B.Tech Mechanical Engineering
Overall Tezpur University is perfect in terms of Infrastructure. Comparable to IIT & IIM but the University lacks a few Engineering specific Facilities that resulted in average placements. Study environment is highly appreciable and the faculties are well knowledged. The campus has actually natural beauties but there is the shortage of proper placements due to improper connectivity to PAN India. If you could manage your placements then it is a perfect choice for you.
