Eligibility Criteria

A candidate must have passed the 10+2 or equivalent examination with pass marks in (1) Physics, (2) Mathematics, (3) Language, (4) any subject (Chemistry, Biology, Biotech, Technical vocational subjects), (5) Any other subject and with minimum 60% (55% in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) marks in above subjects taken together

Lateral Entry: Diploma in Civil Engineering from an AICTE approved program. Duration of Diploma must be: (i) 03 years after 10th (Matriculation) in conventional system (ii) 04 years after 10th (Matriculation) in modular system The Candidate must have passed 10th (Matriculation) with 60% marks in aggregate and must have secured 60% marks in Mathematics, as well as must have a minimum aggregate of 70% marks at Diploma level.

Admission Details

Candidates seeking admission to the B. Tech. Programmes are required to appear in the JEE (Main) to be conducted by NTA, New Delhi. All admission shall be based on JEE (Main) All India Ranking/CRL.

The Candidates who appear in the JEE (Main) have two channels for admission to the B. Tech. Programmes.

40% of the total seats shall be made through the central counselling i.e. Central Seat Allocation Board (CSAB) based on JEE (Main). The Candidates of any lace of India can participate in “Central Counselling” conducted by CSAB/ JoSA (Online Choice filling process), to get admission in Tezpur University (TU) against these 40% seats.
60% of the total seats shall be made through the Tezpur University Counselling. These seats are reserved for the permanent residents of North East (NE) States. The Candidates need to fill-up Tezpur University application form in addition to JEE (Main) - application. The applicants desiring a seat under the NE quota PRC (Permanent Residence Certificate) issued by the competent authority will be required.

College Infrastructure

The college infrastructure is awesome. The college campus has wifi all over the campus. The classrooms have air conditioners and laboratories are equipped with the latest machines. The hostel is pretty good and mess food is nice.

Overall experience was good. Proud to be a student of TU :)

College Infrastructure

The campus is situated in the outskirts of the city and has very good ambience along with greenery around, which is really good for mental rejuvenation and detox. The entire campus covers all the departments within the same piece of land and has access to well equipped labs, conference halls, canteens, field etc. Really appreciable

The Tezpur University is one of the best college and renowned university of India. The campus is full of greenery with all the basic and essential facilities needed for the students.The sports facilities is really good and the hostels are also well maintained.
