Calcutta University Placements

Calcutta University placements are offered to students in reputed companies of various industry sectors. As per the NIRF 2024 report, 4507 graduates secured placements during the year 2023. The Calcutta University Average Package offered for 3-year UG graduates stood at Rs. 9.20 LPA, whereas the Calcutta University Average Package offered to PG graduates was Rs. 8.80 LPA to Rs. 10 LPA.

For Calcutta University placements, the university invites various companies to participate in the Calcutta University placement drive. The companies accept the invitation and share their details with the Calcutta University. The university shares the names of the interested candidates.

The company visits the university campus to conduct the placement process which includes a pre-placement talk, written test, group discussion and personal interview. Candidates selected in the placement process are given an offer letter by the company and the selected candidates have to join the company by the date mentioned in the offer letter.

As per your query I would glad to tell you that for to eligible for MA psychology you need to have passed graudation (ba or bsc) with atleast 55 percent in psychology stream . With ba history , I am sorry to say you are not eligible for Masters in pyschology stream in calcutta university, I would advise you to look for other streams related to your field and work hard in it
