Calcutta University was one of the oldest college in kolkata. In our generation, old heritage classrooms, ancient library and a small garden were in our college. College canteen and faculty room were also available in our college.

Basic eligibility of M.com of our time was 60% marks of graduation. Our faculty members or professors were very helpful and knowledgeable but they were very strict also. Accounts, taxation and business studies were core papers in our syllabus.

Placement after post graduation in calcutta university was moderately good in our generation. At about 70-80% of our batchmates got job as a school teacher or private tutor after post graduation. Average package of our time was 2-3 LPA.

Calcutta University was one of the oldest college in West Bengal as well as Kolkata. Old heritage building, large classrooms, ancient library, college canteen and small garden were also available in our time. The campus was overall good in our generation.

In our time, basic admission criteria of our college was 60% in 12th. The professors of Calcutta University was too knowledgeable and helpful. They were very strict but kind hearted for the needy students. Grammar literature and other parts were in our syllabus.

After Master of Bengali from Calcutta University, I got job in a government aided school as a part time teacher. Most of my batchmates at about 80-90% students got job after completing post graduation. Average salary of me in this time was 2 LPA.

Calcutta University was one of best university in kolkata. Our college building was very large, classrooms were fully furnished, ancient library and labs were also there. Small garden and faculty room were also available in our college.

Academic was too good in our college in our generation. Our faculty members were very helpful and knowledge. They cleared all our doubts. I studied Msc food nutrition from this college. This course is basically about health hygiene and food nutrition and food quality.

After post graduation of Nutrition from this college I got a job in small private school as a nutrition teacher. My other Batchmates got job in some private school and government school. At about 80-90% got job after post graduate.

My college experience has been a wonderful journey of learning and personal growth. I am a student of B.A. English Honours, and every semester has helped me improve my knowledge, confidence, and communication skills. The classes are interesting, and I enjoy studying English literature, poetry, novels, and drama. My teachers are supportive and always encourage us to participate in classroom discussions and complete our assignments on time. Apart from regular classes, I have taken part in tutorial work, internship projects, and viva preparation, which have improved my practical knowledge. Working on handwritten assignments has also helped me become more disciplined and organised. I have made good friends in college, and we help each other with studies and exam preparation. Spending time with classmates during breaks and participating in college activities has created many happy memories. Like every student, I have also faced challenges such as managing studies, assignments, and examinations. However, these experiences have made me more responsible and hardworking. My college life has taught me the importance of dedication, teamwork, and self-confidence. I believe that the knowledge and experiences I gain in college will help me achieve my future goals and build a successful career.

My experience at this college has been very enjoyable and meaningful. Since joining this college, I have learned many new things both inside and outside the classroom. The teachers are friendly, supportive, and always motivate us to do our best in our studies. Their guidance has helped me improve my knowledge and confidence. I enjoy attending classes because they are interactive and interesting. I have also made many good friends who support me in my studies and with whom I share many happy moments. Although I have not yet been placed through the college placement process, I have had a positive experience with the placement-related activities at my college. The college regularly informs students about career opportunities, internships, workshops, and skill-development programmes. These activities have helped me understand the expectations of employers and the importance of developing communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills. The faculty members are supportive and encourage us to prepare for interviews, improve our academic performance, and build confidence. Campus life at my college is friendly, peaceful, and enjoyable. The college provides a positive learning environment where students can interact with teachers and classmates. Various cultural programmes, seminars, workshops, and academic activities make campus life engaging. It is a good place to learn, make friends, and grow both academically and personally.

My college infrastructure is not that good . I think it needs to be developed for students .Overall its average but if you want fun activities then you should think twice before admission in my college but there’s a library which pretty good.

If you look academically my university is doing very good as they made internships mandatory which is again for the development of students.And also teachers are good they provide notes and teaches accordingly.

The placement rate of my college is not that high . I think the college need to work on it to increase the placement rates for the betterment of student and for the good reputation of the college it is necessary.

My college fees is not that high and I think its worth the money according to the education and facilities given by them

Although my campus life is pretty good as there’s a annual fest in my college every year which I enjoy the most and also there’s Holi party ,dandiya night and many more.

The academic environment at the University of Kolkata is will regarded for its strong emphasis on the article knowledge research and intellectual development the curriculum is comprehensive and regulate regularly updated to align with changing educational and industrial retirement

The placement opportunity at Kolkata University very depending on the department and courses professional programs such as MBA m.com computer science economics and science courses generally this is better placement support than traditional programs University placement sale box to connect students with recruiters by organising

University of Kolkata as m.com and I did in 2021 at that time they had a good campus beautiful campus full of greenery and its situated at a very good place where the means of transport is very easy and they had Wi-Fi and all also.

Academic wise also it is good them come program focuses mainly on advanced accounting taxation auditing business law economics research methodology and commerce through seminars projects and experience faculty.

The placement is also cash for the m.com program the highest package was of 8 LP and the average salary was of 5 to 6 lpa course level this is the course level reported range and overall campus placements for mcom is good

In 2019 the University of Calcutta situated in Kolkata had modern classroom Central and department libraries computer labs Wi-Fi facilities all over the seminar halls as well as the classrooms and corridor there were numerous amount of laboratory for commerce also across affiliated college and sports facilities was also good.

The BCom honours curriculum covered accounting finance taxation auditing economics business law management and commerce with tutorials projection experience faculty under the CBCS pattern. Academics is overall good.

The placement was overall good and the highest package was approximately rupees 4.5 lpa and and the average salary was approximately rupees 3.6 lpa these figures are of 2019 so it was preferred to sit for outside campus placements.

Calcutta university is one of the best university and oldest college in kolkata. In our time politicial science department was very good. So much old buildings , well maintained classrooms were in our college. labs are so much important and good condition.

In our time basic crieteria of our admission in our college was 65% marks in 12th in arts group. the syllabus and module & study materials were quietly tough. Teachers helped us to clear our doubt very politely and gently

placement of our collage wass moderate. after graduation we didn't get so many chance to get job. some students (normally topper) gets recommended to get a chance of post-graduation. some students got job in privat coaching

overall value for money

Calcutta University is one of oldest college in West Bengal in our generation. Large classrooms, well furnished library and well equipped labs were there. Old culture Vibes were truly reflected in our college. For the research purpose I had a great experience in M.com

The basic criteria of our college for M.com was 65% marks in honours paper(B.Com course). The faculty members were very helpful, knowledgeable and kind hearted in our generation. But they were very strict also. The syllabus was quietly tough in our time.

Placement of Calcutta University is overall moderate for M.com in our time. Top students got placement in some small company as an accountant. Some other people got a job in some banks also. After passing M.com I got job as a school teacher
