As you are from non medical background you will have to go for physics , chemistry , mathematics and english as you best four . Yes definitely you can apply in DU . But make sure your percentage is atleast 90% or above it .

If you want to take admission in B.Sc (Hons) in courses like Physics, Chemistry then aggregate of marks of 3 subjects(physics, chemistry and mathematics) are calculated.
And you need to paas in one language ime. English with 50% marks.

As you know the zakir hussain evening college has very low cutoffs, so the crowd is not that much good as compared to other colleges of DU. But the faculty, atmosphere, legacy and everything else is beyond good. And rest, depends on the course you want to pursue from there.

Good infrastructure having so good building and canteen area is good , classrooms are good enough to comfortably seat and study and enjoy the garden area also , auditorium is huge and garden is so peaceful
