DU Delhi All Questions

Hi, Delhi University shortlists aspirants for admission on the basis of an entrance exam in postgraduate programmes offered at its colleges.

Last year, DU conducted MA Psychology entrance exam on 18th of June 2018, from 12 noon to 2:00 pm

and MA applied Psychology entrance exam on 19th of June,

Admission in du depends on your course as well as category. 

At 80.25% it is difficult to get into du with general category, however if you have reservation in any other category you have higher chance of getting into du.

Furthermore for science course like bsc physics hons or chemistry

You can apply for both merit base and at the same time appear for the Entrance Exam for admission in du . if you are talking about the entrance registration for the entrance you can do it two times with the different email.id and phone number .

It solely depends on your course, at this percentage it is difficult to get into elite and much in demand courses like English hons or political science hons but you can get into sanskrit hons. This is assuming you are fron general category.

However if you have reservations you have

Admission is based on best of 4 so You have to calculate your best of 4 percentage.

For calculation of best of 4 you need one language subject one subject in which you want to do hons in, in your case political science if you do not include it you

As per delhi university guidelines you have to include subjects like history, geography in your best of 4 calculations( as mentioned in ug bulletin) , however since you are from science background you will face a deduction of 2% for including non humanities subjects.
