Infrastructure wise its the best .overall great experience the college provides so many different platforms to explore yourself and the also to see and know diversity in way better manner... It's definitely the best platform to do your graduation... Worth your time and every single penny you spend.... I would suggest most people don't get opportunity to get into in it but if someone is getting the opportunity they, shouldnt miss it.It is a very prestigious university which helps a student to grow
Best faculty members . They help each student I'm every possible manner, student from different background come here to study and they find it pretty difficult to manage in this environment and here comes the most important role of faculty members they help student not in academics but also I'm diverse manner.
It does provide placement but not in all cources. Few proffesional courses do have placement .......................................................................... ......................................
Yes absolutely.
Great!
The place where I spent the best days of my life .
All colleges of du have beautiful infrastructure .. talking specifically, Sri Venkateswara has good cricket play ground... Very neat and clean campus beautiful flowers everywhere....well equipped labs.. library with all types of book..and many more such things
Though we are going through online classes but teachers are hard working and they try their best to get best output from students. My college Sri Venkateswara (south campus) is one of..the best .college of India and after 1st year 1 get to know why is it so. ... The teachers are so inspiring and hardworking.
Not enough chances to get placements for a science background student .. but yes, if you excel in your academics as well as internship... You have a great chance to get placed after your Master's......
University of Delhi is a central university .. you have to pay very less amount for your academics.as compared to private colleges...Top colleges have slightly high fees but they worth it...you generally have to pay less than or equal to 15k-20k for each year in graduation....and what you pay is worthy
As I'm a 2020 batch student so i didn't get a chance to live my campus life and to explore how beautiful it is . But yes hope that within few months when situation is good i will get a chance ... ....
If You have a chance to get in DU don't miss the chance... Best of all colleges after IITs belongs to DU If you have doubt to choose between North and south campus don't have any doubt in your mind all colleges are best in both campus .. And venky is one of the top colleges, not only in DU but in India..
Zakir Hussain Delhi College is one of the oldest college of Delhi University. A new building is under construction and yet to be inaugurated, WIFI and smart boards are not available for the students. The students have complete access to the library and labs but classrooms are not well maintained. The college maintained a food hygienic canteen with outdoor siting space.
The faculty at Zakir Hussain Delhi College is the best in terms of teaching and facilitating their students. The commerce Department of the college are always available for the students even in the college and are always ready to help them in online classes also.
Our College has a separate placement cell but no placements are offered for BA students but placements are available for other departments. You have to find internship for yourself though college provide very little opportunities for BA students.
My course cost per year was around 6k INR approx. per year. Yes, my course was worth the fees as the quality of education and the facilities provided were worth it.
Zakir Hussain Delhi College is situated in the heart of Delhi and the is nearest to Connaught Place and New Delhi Metro station. The college regularly organizes events and competitions and different clubs and societies. The evening college is not safe for girls at night as the last class usually ends around 9 in the evening.
No, my college hasn't have the necessary projector in my class. The facilities I have in my classroom are desk, bench, teachers bench, chair and a black board. It's partly clean. Yes, the living spaces are clean and the food is hygienic.
I'm studying BBE because of my keen interest in economics and business world. The quality of teaching is average. Yes, curriculum is well updated but it doesn't touch the depth dimension within the subject. A further masters degree is required for better job.
Placements quality is average. I'm not well versed with placement department of my college. So, I'm not that capable of answering the question in the right context. Though I'm not that aware what happen with our college placement cell, I cannot answer better.
Approx. 25000/- ,It costs. Yes but partly because I'm not getting what a student would get in Harvard or Stanford or so.
It's okay!
College infrastructure is really nice. There are a lots of equipment for sports as well. All most every facility is there in the college but I am not a regular student so these facility is not for me. But yes, I was interested in NCC I got that opportunity though I was not a regular college student.
For academics DU is a extremely nice college. The quality of education provided in college by the teachers are great. Teachers are highly educated and supportive as well. I would not say just going to college for 1-2 days in a week will help you and make you job ready because it will not. So you have to have some skills as well to survive in this competitive world.
If you are not a regular student you will not get the direct placement in your college but that doesn't means you can't sit for the placement. You can get the placement from any college of Delhi University as well as your college if you are having some skills, and marks should be decent enough. Because it has been seen most of the students whose college is not regular they have experience, as they are working in the week days.
Yes it definitely is my college fees is less than 3000 per year. So, it's value for money. And I am doing the job as well in my weekdays when my college is off. So, I am having the experience as well. Which will benefit me.
My campus life is amazing. Though I go to college 1-2 days in a week but the teachers and students are very nice. Me and my friends click pics as well. Location of the college is the best for a foodie. There is a lots or restaurant and famous food stole near my college.
If you are not going for regular college for whatever reason whether its because of money or marks in 12th I would highly suggest you to do a job in your weekdays. Or do some professional course fashion designing, CA, CS, CMA, interior designing anything. It will provide relevant skills to compete with the regular students.
Whatever facilities you can think of, the college has it. It has Wi-Fi, labs, IRC, classrooms, Stephen's hospital, junior common room, senior common room, mess, library, sports ground, basketball field, lawns, hostels, everything. Hostels are given only for outstation students. There are separate hostels for boys and girls. There are two cafes in college which provide basic food. It has only improved over the years and now includes even momos and burgers.
Teachers here are very knowledgeable and very helpful. They will help whenever you need them, and they are like friends. If you have any kind of problem, you can share it with them. They will be available for you always, and they are good. I got graduated last year, but some of the teachers are still in contact with me.
My academic percentage is 53%, and job placements are not offered in our college. There are very bad facilities in our college. Many students didn't get placements. Many multinational companies visit here like Bajaj, Flite and many others.
Building is quite big and good to view .classroom are spacious.required chemical are present in labs .sports facilities are not so good,no wifi ,no smart board .campus is very good ,neet and clean .canteen's food is very delicious especially pasta. Campus has big ground for cricket ,2 badminton courts,a tennis table .
I m zoology student and l love my subject . faculties are very helpful and learned . various seminars and workshops occurs frequently.teaching methods are quite simple and very understandable .other than academics, teachers are very concerned for the overall development of the student.
My department is newly opened so it's hard to know the placement for my department.placement percentage for college from 90%-100% and every effort being made by the faculties should get student placed successfully .
Course cost is much affordable .it's 13000/- Yes it is worth studying here.
Here campus life is quite interesting and enjoyable .with academics ,the other things are being enjoyed at the same frequency . students are quite good and interactive .all the staff members are very Frank and helpful.there are so many events happen like annual fest , department fest ,annual sports day ,etc.all are well organised and entartaining .big stars are also being watched here
Like every students, I have dream to study in delhi university. Currently I'm pursuing my graduation from Delhi University. For me, my college is well maintained, whether in the matter of cleanliness and other facilities. But one that I don't like about my college is poor network connection. My college don't access any network services sometimes it is very irritating.
Currently I'm doing my graduation in french language from Delhi University. According to me, Delhi university has good teaching staffs. All professors are well educated and supportive. And yes, my study makes me job ready.
When I talk about placement. I think Delhi university is very bad in it. Many of colleges of Delhi University don't provide placement to their students. So University of Delhi is bad in the matter of placement.
The fee of my course is around ₹4000 per year. And I think it is worthy. Because they are giving us good quality of education in cheap cost. So for me it is worthy.
My college is in north campus. And as we know north campus is the famous campus of dekhi university. North campus has many popular colleges. The best thing that I like about my campus is its cultural fests. And the worst is network issue.
University of Delhi is best place is persuade your education.
University of Delhi has a great infrastructure.it has everything needed for development of student the campus is green and the location is very good everything is well maintained and in awesome condition.
Academics in delhi university are the best for each course it provides the students specialises in it I am studying bcom here and du is best for my course and teachers are also good in teaching quality education.
The placement and internships opportunity provided by du are the best for a student everyone here who is eligible gets job in their respective field of interest the highest went in package went in du is 31 lack per annum
It is indeed value for money and my course cost 30k around anually
The campus life of du is best it has diversity in students it has many society and clubs in which students can take part in.
Du is best i would suggest everyone to work hard in it
Infrastructure is varied across courses and colleges, University of Delhi has colleges which are partly renovated and many classrooms are still not infrastructure wise up to date. Labs and screenings halls are there.
Academics is tight and serious esp in miranda house, st stephens college and srcc. Teacher involvement is much higher at Miranda House. However academics could be made easier with provision of more lucrative notes.
Placements are not too good or too bad, totally depends on your level of efforts. Placement Cell of some colleges are active while others are not. Selection of people who manage placement cells should be made stricter to avoid internal corruption
Definite value for money, fees is a small fraction of that of other colleges
Peak campus life, at the heart of north campus most fests and activities happen
