College has all the necessary infrastructure needed for all the basic facilities and are well maintained. The classroom are well equipped .Library is very good.Good canteen facility.Campus has a greenery with a peace
Teachers are very good and supportive they help student in each and every problem which results in good career.Whether online or offline teachers teach what they have to and also ready to help the students in whatever way possible.
The quality of placement are very good at college. They are regularly engaged in creating opportunities. But no jobs for BA department students but good opportunities for other departments.I have seen my seniors being placed in some good comapnies.
Its worth
Amazing
I like everything about my college.
The infrastructure is good in some collages, books are available in library but one there is one issue sometimes if the books are submitted late they charge late fee.. talking about the food, hygienic and tasty
I have completed my BA this year, the course curriculum is updated accordingly to the needs, the quality of teaching is good the teachers are helpful and provide their best ,also ther are extra classes for doubts
To be honest I am not able to score good marks in academics,I m not able to get any placement there, the placements are only good for the students who are able to score good marks in their academic, placement process is easy
The fee charged for every year examination is approximately 2000 and if you are failed in some subject the next year the fee was charged for the subject, the study and talking about the facility it is value for money
Campus life is good, the environment is good and teachers are helpful, and the food of cantein is hygienic and value for money, students are good to communicate, only some collages are not good, otherwise overall good experience
The university has all the necessary infrastructure and equipments. The smart classes are not really required in my course so It doesn't matter. Library has variety of books over here of different courses and really worthy. The living spaces are hygienic and the cleanliness is up to the mark.
I studied BA Honors in English. The quality of teaching of Delhi University is really very good. The updated curriculum does include all the recent developments of the field. No this course doesn't make us job ready but it helps us a lot for upcoming hurdles.
The quality pop placement is not very well in my course but if we talk about the whole University then it can be seen the quality of placements in hons courses is really good. Average salary may be around 3 lakh per annum.
The University of Delhi doesn't charges much . It is really worthy
The campus life of University of Delhi is really awesome. University organises various no. Of competitions all around the year which helps in various fields.
My college have maximum no. Of facilities . Although our classes aren't smart classes but the professors over here are well educated and well behaved. The living spaces are really clean and food hygenic. Library over here has a plenty of knowledgeable books and the service is also up to the mark
I am pursuing Bsc in Life Sciences . No one can question on the quality of teaching of the University of Delhi. The quality is really very good. The study gives us knowledge and our professors makes us job ready by sharing their experiences in the field.
There are not much placements in my course. But there are placements in hons. Courses and commerce dept. Various multinational companies come across University of Delhi to find the suitable assets for their company. The packages varies with the student's abilities.
My course cost 10k annualy. It isn't a great amount when you study in University of Delhi. I am getting my money's worth by studying here.
The campus life of The University of Delhi is really outstanding. The students can play some games here the students can study the students gets a proper environment to do any thing a student demands from a University
Although the infrastructure is not very good but our university provides each and every necessities. It has well maintained laboratories and libraries. Hostel facility is not available in every college but pgs are available at cheap prices, wifi services are also available.
I'm a second year, bsc life sciences student and the faculty here is awesome. The years spent in the college are the years of numerous experiences which in a way or the other make us ready for the upcoming challenges the world has for us. Everyday is a new opportunity here
Every college has a placement cell and every years hundreds of students get their on campus placement. Although it is not for the students of science stream but as far as I have heard from the seniors and friends from other streams it is quite helpful and well managed
The fees structure is very affordable. Talking about my course it is nearly 10k per annum and this is one of the reason why DU is so crowded. I have never regretted studying here.
Campus life is kind of extraordinary here. Apart from the not so well maintained infrastructure of the colleges the university provides each and everything one can ask for. The colleges are well connected by the metro services be it north, south or even off campus colleges. The best part rests with the students of DU who are actually really very supportive and kind and also ragging is a punishable offence here so there is nothing much to be worried about.
Infrastructure wise its the best .overall great experience the college provides so many different platforms to explore yourself and the also to see and know diversity in way better manner... It's definitely the best platform to do your graduation... Worth your time and every single penny you spend.... I would suggest most people don't get opportunity to get into in it but if someone is getting the opportunity they, shouldnt miss it.It is a very prestigious university which helps a student to grow
Best faculty members . They help each student I'm every possible manner, student from different background come here to study and they find it pretty difficult to manage in this environment and here comes the most important role of faculty members they help student not in academics but also I'm diverse manner.
It does provide placement but not in all cources. Few proffesional courses do have placement .......................................................................... ......................................
Yes absolutely.
Great!
The place where I spent the best days of my life .
All colleges of du have beautiful infrastructure .. talking specifically, Sri Venkateswara has good cricket play ground... Very neat and clean campus beautiful flowers everywhere....well equipped labs.. library with all types of book..and many more such things
Though we are going through online classes but teachers are hard working and they try their best to get best output from students. My college Sri Venkateswara (south campus) is one of..the best .college of India and after 1st year 1 get to know why is it so. ... The teachers are so inspiring and hardworking.
Not enough chances to get placements for a science background student .. but yes, if you excel in your academics as well as internship... You have a great chance to get placed after your Master's......
University of Delhi is a central university .. you have to pay very less amount for your academics.as compared to private colleges...Top colleges have slightly high fees but they worth it...you generally have to pay less than or equal to 15k-20k for each year in graduation....and what you pay is worthy
As I'm a 2020 batch student so i didn't get a chance to live my campus life and to explore how beautiful it is . But yes hope that within few months when situation is good i will get a chance ... ....
If You have a chance to get in DU don't miss the chance... Best of all colleges after IITs belongs to DU If you have doubt to choose between North and south campus don't have any doubt in your mind all colleges are best in both campus .. And venky is one of the top colleges, not only in DU but in India..
Zakir Hussain Delhi College is one of the oldest college of Delhi University. A new building is under construction and yet to be inaugurated, WIFI and smart boards are not available for the students. The students have complete access to the library and labs but classrooms are not well maintained. The college maintained a food hygienic canteen with outdoor siting space.
The faculty at Zakir Hussain Delhi College is the best in terms of teaching and facilitating their students. The commerce Department of the college are always available for the students even in the college and are always ready to help them in online classes also.
Our College has a separate placement cell but no placements are offered for BA students but placements are available for other departments. You have to find internship for yourself though college provide very little opportunities for BA students.
My course cost per year was around 6k INR approx. per year. Yes, my course was worth the fees as the quality of education and the facilities provided were worth it.
Zakir Hussain Delhi College is situated in the heart of Delhi and the is nearest to Connaught Place and New Delhi Metro station. The college regularly organizes events and competitions and different clubs and societies. The evening college is not safe for girls at night as the last class usually ends around 9 in the evening.
No, my college hasn't have the necessary projector in my class. The facilities I have in my classroom are desk, bench, teachers bench, chair and a black board. It's partly clean. Yes, the living spaces are clean and the food is hygienic.
I'm studying BBE because of my keen interest in economics and business world. The quality of teaching is average. Yes, curriculum is well updated but it doesn't touch the depth dimension within the subject. A further masters degree is required for better job.
Placements quality is average. I'm not well versed with placement department of my college. So, I'm not that capable of answering the question in the right context. Though I'm not that aware what happen with our college placement cell, I cannot answer better.
Approx. 25000/- ,It costs. Yes but partly because I'm not getting what a student would get in Harvard or Stanford or so.
It's okay!
College infrastructure is really nice. There are a lots of equipment for sports as well. All most every facility is there in the college but I am not a regular student so these facility is not for me. But yes, I was interested in NCC I got that opportunity though I was not a regular college student.
For academics DU is a extremely nice college. The quality of education provided in college by the teachers are great. Teachers are highly educated and supportive as well. I would not say just going to college for 1-2 days in a week will help you and make you job ready because it will not. So you have to have some skills as well to survive in this competitive world.
If you are not a regular student you will not get the direct placement in your college but that doesn't means you can't sit for the placement. You can get the placement from any college of Delhi University as well as your college if you are having some skills, and marks should be decent enough. Because it has been seen most of the students whose college is not regular they have experience, as they are working in the week days.
Yes it definitely is my college fees is less than 3000 per year. So, it's value for money. And I am doing the job as well in my weekdays when my college is off. So, I am having the experience as well. Which will benefit me.
My campus life is amazing. Though I go to college 1-2 days in a week but the teachers and students are very nice. Me and my friends click pics as well. Location of the college is the best for a foodie. There is a lots or restaurant and famous food stole near my college.
If you are not going for regular college for whatever reason whether its because of money or marks in 12th I would highly suggest you to do a job in your weekdays. Or do some professional course fashion designing, CA, CS, CMA, interior designing anything. It will provide relevant skills to compete with the regular students.
