M.Sc Molecular Biology and Human Genetics - Batch of 2024-01-01
Academics
Since the department is new it have no teaching faculty of its own and have a little la which is not sufficient for the course. Teachers of other departments take classes and lab works are done in labs of other departments. But the teachers are very good and taught the lessons very good that are helpful for the students.
College Infra
Burdwan university is a very good state university with a wide variety of subjects study there and many degree courses are available. The overall university building of golapbag campus is very good and each department have there sufficient separate building. But the departments at the rajbati campus are not well developed and have no such h infrastructure and my dept is one of them
Campus Life
Campus of the university is very big, and full of greennaries. There is a little pond in the middle of the campus and central library is also present . The teachers and students of the university together maintain a friendly relation with each other.
Placements
University have a very good placements for most of the departments and the new departments are also trying there best for having campusing in different industrial fields. But proper placements is not available for this department so far
Value For Money
The cost of the other courses are generally ok for every family but the applied courses including these course have certainly high. But concession us also available so one can run the courses with certain financial difficulties for needy.

M.Sc Physics - Batch of 2024-01-01
Academics
Academics in physics are strong. The department of physics is supported by highly experienced faculty members. I particularly appreciate AR Sir for his teaching of Statistical Mechanics and Python programming and AC sir for his exceptional clarity and depth in Atomic and Molecular Physics.
College Infra
Labs and Classrooms are well-equipped and clean. It includes Central Library and personal Departmental Library only for physics ( same as other).It has both departmental and central canteens, provides free Wi-Fi across the whole campus.
Campus Life
Two unforgettable years after finishing my school.
Placements
I do not have insights into other department, however for physics, students are generally required to qualify examinations like CSIR-NET and GATE to pursue higher academic research or to secure positions in the public sector related to physics.
Value For Money
It is undoubtedly great value for money to obtain a master's degree in physics.

The students of Burdwan University are really attracted to the teaching technique of the professors. The professors are very friendly and helpful. The syllabus will be covered previously by the university professors.
College Infra
Burdwan University is situated in an old building. There are facilities to use the stairs to go upside. There are drinking water taps and proper clean washrooms. The classrooms have the smart boards but most of the classes are going on the White Board. Everywhere there are security guards.
Placements
The students of Burdwan University are satisfied with the placement. There are some faults of the University which should be noticed by the authority. In conclusion, the university provides the job to the merit students.
