Master of Business Administration (MBA) is a two years (4 Semester) full-time postgraduate course offered by the Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University, Katra

Eligibility Criteria

A candidate must have passed Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks or equivalent CGPA in any discipline from any recognized University/Institute.

Admission Details

There are the following two possible methodologies to secure admission into the MBA program at SMVDU as illustrated below:

Direct Counselling based on valid MAT/CMAT/CAT Score: Seats will also be filled through Direct Counselling to be conducted by the University on the basis of applications received from candidates and allotment of seats will be based on valid MAT/CMAT/CAT score and Group Discussion/Personal Interview/Essay Writing etc.
Through SMVDUEE: To be conducted at various centers in selected cities of the country as per schedule in table at Section 4. The online counselling shall be conducted by the University and allotment of seats shall be done on the basis of merit rank order of the candidates in SMVDUEE and Group Discussion/Personal Interview/Essay Writing etc
