- SMVDU Scholarships offered are Assistantship for Ph.D scholars, Student Merit cum Means Scholarship Scheme (SMMSS), Special Scholarship Scheme, Monthly assistantship from AICTE, and Shakti Scholarship.
- For Special Scholarship Scheme, students must have scored a minimum CGPA of 7.5 with no backlogs in any semester.
