A.S. College, Khanna, established in 1946 is an affiliated college situated in Khanna, Punjab. Located on a 21-acre land the institution boasts of providing education to its students for over seven decades. A.S College has a total strength of 1982 students along with a faculty of 57 members. The college offers 15 courses in nine degree programmes. The college offers different areas of specialisation to its students in Arts, Commerce, Computer Application and Vocation. At present, A.S. College, Khanna offers a total of fifteen courses out of which seven are at the undergraduate level and the remaining eight at the postgraduate level. The different fields of full-time course streams are available in Arts, Science, Commerce, and Computer Application. The college awards Bachelor’s degrees in Arts (BA), Computer Applications (BCA), Science (B.Sc); Commerce (B.Com); and the new B. Voc programmes in Multimedia, and Banking Insurance and Retailing. At the postgraduate level, the college offers Master’s degrees in Economics, English, History, Political Science, Punjabi, Commerce, Chemistry, Mathematics etc. The total number of admitted students covering all the courses is 1928.

Admissions at A.S. College, Khanna are merit-based. The college may take academic performance in the entrance examinations into consideration for admission to an undergraduate degree programme.  The same cannot be said of Master's degree programme admission, which might require other qualifying exams or entrance tests.
