With a total student enrolment of 331 and a faculty strength of 18, thus making it is a college that has optimum capacity. 

Agia College is a degree college located in Agia, Goalpara district, Assam. Established in 1996, it is permanently affiliated with Gauhati University and was provincialised by the Government of Assam in 2021.  Agia College, therefore, aims at seeing that all its students receive an all-round education. To this effect, Agia College has several facilities it claims to possess to help in the teaching and learning process and other co-curricular activities. The college library is an important resource centre for students and consists of documents in the form of books, journals, and references for the learning process.  For organisational and academic purposes, the college uses an auditorium to conduct seminars, conferences, and other meetings. That is why, to support sports and fitness activities, Agia College offers students sports facilities and a gym to be physically fit and healthy and have fun. These facilities towards a comprehensive development setting within the learning institution that affords the students all-round growth and development needs, including the physical. 

Currently, Agia College teaches 5 full-time programmes, and all are under the Bachelor of Arts. These courses are a BA general course to four honours courses in Assamese, Education, Economics, and Political Science.
