Eligibility Criteria

  • Graduate or Post Graduate in Agriculture/ Food and allied disciplines like Horticulture/Aquaculture (Fishery)/Food Science/ Food Technology/Food Engineering/ Home Science/ Dairy Technology/Agriculture Engineering/Nutrition/Post Harvest Technology/Veterinary Science /Animal Husbandry/ Poultry Science/Sugar Technology/Oil Technology/ Milling Technology/ Agri-Business Management and others, of any of the Universities incorporated by an act of the central or state legislature in India or other educational institutions established by an act of Parliament or declared to be deemed as a University under section 3 of UGC Act, 1956, or possess an equivalent qualification recognized by the Ministry of HRD, Government of India. The Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent qualification obtained by the candidate must entail a minimum of three years of education after completing higher secondary schooling (10+2) or equivalent.
  • Graduate or Post Graduate in Biology/Chemistry/Biotechnology/ Biochemistry/ Microbiology/BioPhysics, Chemical Technology, and any other related field from a University or Institution as defined in the above paragraph.
  • Graduate/ Post Graduate or equivalent qualification in any other discipline from a University or Institution as defined in the above paragraph and have an interest in Agriculture, Agro/Food Processing, Rural, and Allied sectors. The Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent qualification obtained by the candidates must entail a minimum of three years of education after completing higher secondary schooling (10+2) or equivalent. Students other than Agriculture/Food and allied graduates, have to take a few additional courses related to the Science and Technology of Agriculture/Food & allied.

Admission Details

  • The college accepts scores in recent CAT/ MAT/ GMAT/ATMA/Manage/ IRMA or any Other Management Test held at either State or National Level. If you do not have any above-mentioned scores, you can appear for the AFMI Test, Conducted on the line throughout the country.
  • Candidates who have been screened through the written test score (CAT/ MAT/ GMAT/ATMA/Manage/ IRMA or any Other Management Test held at either State or National Level) will be called for GD & PI. 
  • The Psychological and Fitness Test aims at measuring your attitude and social behavior as well as your physical ability to work hard and long hours. 
  • On completion of all the above-mentioned tests, we compare the performance of all the candidates and generate a final merit list based on their overall performance. Weightage is given to Analytical Ability, Academic Background, Leadership Potential, Social Orientation, Work Experience, and Physical Fitness. Additional weight will be given to those candidates who have any other professional qualifications in the field of IT, Finance, Agriculture, Food, and other Allied Areas.
