The college has a health center with a first aid facility for the students.

The College has a Library that is one of the best equipped in terms of the number of books, back volumes, and current journals subscribed. Students have access to a lending library, reference library, paperback library, non-print media library, and a vast treasure of journals, current and back volumes.

The college has sports facilities for all students. Physical recreation through games and sports has been an important part of the Institute since its inception. Today, the Institute has some of the best facilities for several games and sports. The students of the institute keep making use of the marvelous sports facilities to excel in sports and games. To motivate the students and get them interested in sports, various sporting events (badminton, cricket, football, basketball, table tennis, and volleyball) at the institute level have started.

Health Club is an association of students in college to take care of everything necessary for keeping an individual healthy. Health club deals with activities for the students to possess good overall health which includes Mental health, Physical Health, Emotional Health, and Social health.

The basic objectives of the media club are to develop professional skills in different fields of Digital marketing, video production, VFX editing, and journalism to create a platform for students to enhance their extracurricular activities.

A nature club has been functioning in the college to inculcate among the students the need for conservation and preservation of nature. The club organizes nature study camps, trekking, visits to forests, and essay and quiz competitions to propagate the message among the students.

Science Club is a platform for students to promote their scientific interests, realize their scientific skills, and fulfill their quest to do science activities. The club aims to organize Seminars, Workshops, Exhibitions, and Quiz competitions to inculcate students' knowledge and skills in the field of science.

The college also provides Training and Placement opportunities for all the students.

A J College of Science and Technology is one of the pioneer self-financing colleges to get NSS Units (56 A& 56 B) as early as 2002. Due to mass students, two units have been allotted by the University. NSS units of A J College have a high ranking in the University of Kerala. Various activities have been coordinated by the unit recently- Literacy Survey Aksharashree conducted by Literacy Mission, Govt. of Kerala, in July 2019.
