Alpha College of Engineering was established in the year of 2001 which is an affiliated college situated at Karnataka in India. Located on a vast land of 10 acres this is a co-educational institution where students can enroll for engineering programs. The college has a total student intake of 214 students which makes it offer focused learning to those learners enrolled. Alpha College of Engineering aims to provide excellence in education in the related fields of engineering and to transform its students to face the technically competitive world.

Need for facilities that can improve the experience of the students is well responses within college facilities. The well equipped gym assists in mold development of physical fitness, however, the library assists in development of academic fitness. Sports lovers can however make use of outdoor as well as indoor sports complex that include the cricket, volley ball, basket ball and table tennis areas. By so doing, the college’s IT infrastructure guarantees the students use modern technology in their learning activities. A university has a large hall for various occasions and seminars contributing to the active student’s life. 

The institution also has functional laboratories to facilitate practical aspects of the programs of study. For the students who need special facilities, both boys and girls hostels are provided for the physically challenged students. Alpha College of Engineering currently has four Full-Time Bachelor of Engineering (BE) Degree programs that last four years each. Such programs are Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering and Civil Engineering. All the Programmes are available in full time mode so as to give students a proper understanding of all the aspects in the discipline of their choice. The cumulative of the college intake currently sits at 214 much as the institution strives to keep the bar of student to instructor ratio to the barest minimum as a means of ensuring that all students get a fair chance at quality education.

The admission procedure of Alpha College of Engineering is over all dependent on CET conducted by the Government of Karnataka. This examination is generally conducted in February or March and intimation of the same is given in leading newspapers. The college also gives entrance to the scores of the Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka Under Graduate Entrance Test (COMEDK UGET). Test wise and course wise merit list is maintained by taking into consideration the candidates’ scores in Pre University Course ( PUC )/ XII standard examination and entrance test conducted by the university.
