Alpine Institute of Technology was established in 2007 by the Ujjain Shikshan Evam Shodh Samiti. AIT Ujjain is located in the culturally rich city of Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh, and occupies a spacious 32-acre campus, conveniently situated just 7 km from the city centre. The AIT Ujjain institute is dedicated to promoting technical education in the Malwa region and is affiliated with Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiks Vishwavidyalaya, Bhopal, and Vikram Vishwavidyalaya, Ujjain. AIT Ujjain holds approval from the All India Council for Technical Education, New Delhi. Alpine Institute of Technology Ujjain offers Diploma programmes, BE programmes, M.Tech programmes and MBA programmes.
