Amritsar Law College was established in the year 2019 to confer law education. The institute is also known as ALC Amritsar and it functions under the umbrella of Amritsar Group of Colleges. ALC Amritsar is affiliated to the Guru Nanak Dev University Amritsar and is approved by the Bar Council of India. The institute offers a 5 years dual degree professional course in administrative law - BA LLB and one administrative law professional integrated course - LLB to the students desirous to pursue a career in the field of law. Admission to both the programme is offered on the basis of the marks obtained in AGC NEST - National Entrance cum Scholarship Test conducted by Amritsar Group of Colleges (AGC). Students of ALC are also offered job opportunities through campus placements and they are offered jobs in banks, consultancies, judiciaries, MNCs, sale tax and excise departments, etc.

Amritsar Law College Facilities and Infrastructure

Amritsar Law College facilities are hostels, wifi facility, medical facility, sports, Moot Court Room, library and transport facilities. Amritsar Law College provides accommodation to girls and boys and the hostel rooms are well equipped with the necessary facilities and it has separate Social Interaction Rooms that are used for recreational activities. Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Hostel is the boys hostel whereas Kalpana Chawla Hostel is for girls. The central library has a humongous collection of books and e-resources. Sports is given due importance and students are encouraged to take part in various sports activities. Several sports activities and tournaments are organised every year.
