    General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) is a three-year full-time diploma programme offered by Punjab Nurses Registration Council, Chandigarh and approved by Indian Nursing Council (INC).


    Eligibility Criteria

    Candidates should have passed 10+2 or its equivalent examination from a recognised board with minimum 45% marks in aggregate (Relaxableby 40% for S.C. & S.T. candidates). Working knowledge of English is necessary.  Candidate should have passed Punjabi in Matric Exam otherwise have to pass before clearing the course. Applicant should be unmarried girl, widow or divorce without encumbrance (Required documents to be produced). Candidate should be Medically Fit.  Candidate should submit a medical certificate from a Senior Medical Officer/Civil Surgeon.
